over the last two years it hasn't been for a lack of talent that has killed Sioux puck. It comes down to berry and the rest of the coaching staff to be able to put a coherent hockey team on the ice night in and night out. You can point your finger at teams like UMD and SCSU that don't have nearly the caliber of recruits but can still be one of the top teams in the country. I don't think its all Berrys fault for the struggles as of late, its he people that are around him. thoughts,,

I would love to see Berry try to go after the top USHL guys who aren't committed yet. USHL is a fast and skilled league and UND needs more guys who can skate and are natural goal scorers, that is what we really missed this year was a guy who can put the puck in whenever he wants. thoughts?

The stats speak for themselves, we are getting just as good hockey players as any other team in the nation as recruits. It comes down to taking a very talented player and being able to take that players ability to the next level and make a team that is able to succeed, not just 5 skaters on the ice. That seems to be the problem as of late in my opinion.
