  1. LOL, you do realize they get tested for the same substances as any other college football team in the whole nation? Are you that delusional?
  2. Trust me, if Clemson, Alabama or any of those top 10 teams in the final AP call us and asked us for a game, we wouldn't hesitate. Problem is they won't cause they'd much rather play a lower tier FCS team to beat by 30+. It doesn't look good when it comes to the CFP rankings and one of them plays us and only beats us by 2 or less scores. Sure they could beat us by much more, but this is one reason why they wont schedule us.
  3. FWIW, during our 3-8 2009 season, we didn't have below a 14,000 attendance. We got 1k+ teammakers on a wait list for season tickets. Fan base and attendance aren't going anywhere. Also, 6-5 season in 2008, no less than 16k/game
  4. I acknowledged his statement, now lets hear your answer to my question. I can already see it now. If Oregon magically comes out of the craphole they're in and becomes relevant and we beat them, you will still spin it somehow that it's "not a big deal".
  5. So you would rather have an AD that schedules FBS teams that you know you'll lose by 30 to just pick up a check? LOL
  6. Wasn't a shot at you guys at all, just laying out facts. Go crawl under your hole again.
  7. How is it our fault these teams aren't good when we play them? We schedule the games 5+ years in advance. K-State and Iowa both came off conference championship winning seasons the year prior. We hear it every year from them: "It's a down year" "If we played our A game we'd woop you" "Let's see you play 'Bama" yada yada yada.
  8. We can't play 'em if they won't schedule us. This bigger teams would rather play some school like the Citidal or UND for that matter. We would've beat Washington this year.
  9. Mount Union isn't beating those FBS teams on a regular basis, though.
  10. Grimsley played a bulk of the safety snaps. Tutsie was in on a few of them, but played a ton of special teams (shouldn't have said significant amount of safety snaps). We'll just have to agree to disagree.
  11. We got a true freshman (Tutsie) that played a significant amount of snaps at safety this year, had a couple picks too I believe, we also return Jimmy Football Hendricks. There will be a little drop off with the loss of Grimsley, but not much. If Trey Lance gets the nod this fall, we will run the ball a little more than we did this year, more read options, RPOs.
  12. Since their season is over and technically not apart of the program anymore, I don't think the AD really has a say in it. As for booster rules, if it hasn't been addressed in the last 7-8 years we've done it, it more than likely does not break any of them.
  13. This has gone on for years now after we won the natty. It's nothing new, you're trying to make something out of nothing.
  14. Don't know it as a fact, but on paper it is the best. Don't know of this dodge you're talking about as I drive a 2018 F-150. Not bad for a Moo-U education, huh?
  15. I agree Foles has done really well, but he is actually getting paid more than Wentz this year, and his option for next year is around $20 million. I assume by price you mean the picks the eagles traded for Wentz?
  16. I heard you might have said something similar to that after '13. Worked out pretty well for us after losing about the same amount of seniors and coaches. I may seem over-confident, but I don't see much drop-off for next year's team. We just brought in one of the best, if not the best, recruiting classes in school history.
  17. He mentioned a few assistants in his interview today (Roehl, Goeser, and Hedberg i think) and also our S&C coach Kramer. I am assuming they are for sure staying. Goeser confirmed he is staying
  18. I dunno, I'll remain skeptical until you name sources.
  19. FWIW I wasn't overly confident when he came in, specifically for the same reasons I stated in an earlier post.
  20. Sources? Or is this some more fake news?
  21. Friction within the locker room? Do you have insider info?
  22. Of course he's going to want to start. We had a transfer from Illinois a few years ago (Desmond Cain) and he fell almost to the bottom of our depth chart in his 2 years. Some transfers just don't work as well as others, I could be wrong though.
  23. I think Lance is going to beat him out, just from what I have seen from him so far, if anything it just adds depth to the QB room. Sanders was a walk-on I believe and haven't seen him in action yet to see what he's like. Granted I've only seen Lance run the ball but looks like in practice he throws a good ball, but practice and games are 2 different things.
  24. Actually the QB is the only commitment we lost, and we replace it with a Big 12 transfer, and kept a LB that had a current offer from K-State along with several other FBS schools. I call that a pretty darn successful day. How many QB's do you guys have on the roster now with your other commit going to Texas State?
