Someone posted this earlier on a different thread.  Penn State's student section for hockey has a website, and is very organized.  Something like this would be really cool, and helpful for both football and hockey, and maybe even volleyball/basketball.

That's a great idea. Would also be helpful for freshman/casual fans who don't know all the chants but would like to participate.

Last night was the radio feed guy.  Blow by blow.  Tonight it is more for a color commentary.  I have come to expect homer announcers at away games, so that is par for the course.  I think I actually preferred the announcer last night.

His voice just drove me up the wall. This guy at least doesn't sound like he has bees up his nose.

As cool as that would be, I don't see the NCAA allowing a Frozen Four, or even a regional, in a Canadian city.

Maybe not, but if they could put together a good enough proposal, that might be enough to sway the NC$$. I think money would be a bigger factor than geography.

I honestly wouldn't be opposed to MTS Centre in Winnipeg again. I always enjoy taking weekend trips up there.

I might be a bit biased as a Manitoban, but I've always thought it would be cool for UND to host the Frozen Four at the MTS Centre, though it might not seat enough people. Maybe a regional would be more practical. I'd bet that Mark Chipman would be willing to help get that off the ground.

  5. I gotta admit, I was hoping for a handshake brawl.  Great game boys. Wasn't perfect, but their patience payed off, and they took down the goofs. Great game by Poolman and Scheel. Now that everyone's heart rate is almost back to normal it's time to celebrate a win over our archrivals. I hate to say it, and it isn't even about the nickname, but: Sioux Forever baby!
