When I saw that Suter had been added after his AHL team got beat out of the playoffs, I was wondering why ZP wasn't already there since Albany wasn't in the playoffs. Great news, now I may have to pay for some more webcasting. US vs Canada later this week (actually tomorrow afternoon).

Sioux should have recruited Bear Trapp based on name alone.

Someone must want to bid on Duncan's jersey.

The weight issues come up primarily on message boards, as opponent fans seem to like to poke fun at him (Reaney). Seems like there must be some additional issues if the Sioux choose not to make an offer to the leading scorer in the BCHL. Would be great to have him walk on and "earn" a spot in the lineup. Here's SA Superfans pic of Reaney:

The season ended this afternoon for both Binghamton (Bochenski) and Milwaukee (Hrkac/B. Lundbohm) as both team lost by a goal. Manitoba and Goren moved on to the next round.
-
Surrey's season ended last night, losing 3-2 to Camrose. Down 2-0, Surrey came back to tie it with two minutes left (Kozek had one of the goals), but Camrose got the gamewinner with a minute left. At any rate, we won't see Kozek in Weyburn

Binghampton is down 2-1 after two; series tied at 2 apiece. Goren has scored in the first period at Winnipeg. Manitoba leads the game 2-0 and can wrap up the series tonight.

It is Chay, and he is a good player, centered Esposito for SSM, and they looked very good together. Very much like Colby.
-
The sample is good quality. Too bad some of the rookie AHL'ers (ZP) aren't on the team, although most are in the playoffs.

THe upcoming world championship will be offered on streaming video. Another one to compare to dataflix.

Given Mannino's comments he used the review as evidence that he made the save. It's in the books as a save, but to Sioux fans, it's a sudo save at best.

The product name makes more sense now. Think I liked the hunting stuff better though
-
Surrey/Camrose broadcast . No score after one. Camrose wins 5-0, Surrey just one loss away from elimination
-
Can anyone actually get to the video without going through the REAL pay for access options?
-
If I were you, I wouldn't quit my sudo reporter job yet to apply for a CSI lab job.

Here I though Kessel had withdrawn from his gopher verbal and was just waiting for mom and dad to hold a press conference to make the announcement (except ESPN refused to preempt the NFL draft).

Complements the "squealing" on the ice

I thought that you may be able to see the puck through the webbing of the glove. At one point a replay showed it there just before Mannino's glove went back behind the post.
-
I agree with jk's post also. As far as Denver being clearly better in the REA series, I wouldn't go that far, but can't deny that the Sioux didn't out play them by any stretch in the REA. Denver's picking payed off big time in that series. I was worried about Denver's PP luck after the CC game, because their PP goals that buried CC were all bounces and seeing eye goals, and they scored 3 or 4 of them. When you add that kind of luck to the skill Denver has, they were no doubt destined to repeat.

I'd also agree that based on the replays shown on TV, and the fact that Shegos did not see it cross the line, that there was no way it was a goal. However, from one close up replay, you can see the puck in the webbing as Mannino catches it outside the net, then a later replay clearly shows the top half of this glove behind the pipe. I have NO doubt that the puck was across the line, but can't disagree with the call as made. Mannino would not say if he thought it was over or not in a post game interview, he chose to say only that he believed the right call was made. I think he knows full well (as does Fabian) that they puck was across the line, inside the glove. I'd guess Carle knows as well. Also, from the pic, it appears Shegos has an excellent view of the glove in relationship to the pipe, although he may not have known what part of the glove the puck was in. Did the replay official see only what we saw on the TV replay? I find it hard to believe there was not an overhead cam for the official, since review was required for every goal scored in th NCAA's. Were they really dependent on the ESPN cameras only?

Wow, even more PK's than the Sioux in a normal game. A steep hill to climb if we are to be able to watch Kozek in Weyburn
-
Kozek scored once in each of the first two Doyle Cup games vs Camrose. The teams split the games, and will play the third of the series tonight in Surrey, then move to Camrose for the remainder of the series. Kozek remains on top in playoff goal scoring, tied with teammate Girling for total points, while both trail teammate Mullock who has the point lead in the playoffs.

These two may be auditioning for jobs with the National Inquirer.

They have to win to go to the RBC. Only Weyburn is in so far as the host.
