That appears to be back to normal.
Finally tried the improved baker boy bun grinder today, and can't tell it from the Hugo's bun. Some may like it better. Can now go back to my regularly scheduled grinder.

If all else fails in the Kennedy/McGarry debate here, the anti-hockey people just attack the hockey program, it's coaches, players, and fans. I like all the sports, and can't believe there are fans of any one UND sport that are willing to attack the others here in this board. What the hell is wrong with you so called UND fans.

Technically the Peregrine is a Falcon and not a Hawk but in North America it is also known as the Duck Hawk. I would like to see a logo based on the power and speed and hunting abilities of this hunting machine. It is the fastest creature in the Animal Kingdom with speeds of up to 240 mph.
That would be my first choice, other than it being a falcon. I've seen the stoop often on the islands off the shores of S. Texas, as well as one taking a mallard over my goose decoys in northwest North Dakota

Would people prefer any of these logos? Are these so much better? People complain about the Fighting Hawks name being unoriginal. Should UND have further perpetuated that by choosing another bird logo like all these others?!!
The BC eagle logo, (the one with the full eagle, not just the head), change colors, change BC to ND, and change the eagle to a hawk (ferruginous or rough legged) and I'll buy it. We're stuck with hawks, at least have a logo that is one.
Teeth, muscles, etc, NOOOOOO
-
Couldn't quickly find a hawk image, but I'd like to see a full bodied raptor in a stoop, talons extended, like the eagle above. If it has to be just a partial bird, something more like the Air Force falcon, with talons extended (shown just for the talons extended, not that big a fan of it otherwise). I was hoping for at least something like that when Ed unveiled the awful logo.
While I've become accustomed to the current logo (black and white on green background, green and white on black background, but never on gray like Ed's sweatshirt during the unveiling), I still would like to see something much more like the image (the eagle) above.

the better goaltender won that one.

Kempny with a wonderful start at d for the caps

I like the look of the betty court with North Dakota in the new font at Center Court and Fighting Hawks with a small logo at each end. I don't agree with Kennedy's arguments for a large logo at Center Court.

Have you tried it since they switched the bread? I thought it was pretty good, but I haven't been a grinder regular over the years.
Tried the first version. Hated it. Haven't tried the recent "improved" version

I had an everything grinder last weekend and it was fabulous.
Sure, but you've never had food you didn't like

For real?
Yes, had them on the shelves yesterday. Have to buy a package of 4.

Meanwhile Hugo's has now created a labeled spot on the shelves for the "real" grinder buns.

Still waiting for the word from Sprig.
Was at the Pep today and thought for a second about getting a grinder. Then I remembered I wouldn't even remember what the old bread taste like, as I'm more of a tostada kind of guy.
While I'm willing to cough up the $6, I'm not willing to choke down even one bite of anything close to what i ate the one time i had the "new" bread.

Caps screwed on 2 consecutive penalty calls. The only penalty, a hook on TB, was missed

(men's hockey, football, men's and women's basketball and volleyball). RE Arena Inc. retains 52 percent of such ticket revenue and remits 48 percent to UND.
RE Arena Inc. retains 64 percent of such sponsorship revenue, net of direct costs and remits 36 percent to the UND net of direct costs."
The NDUS report states that in fiscal year 2017, gross tickets sales were $4.6 million—meaning RE Arena Inc. took a $2.4 million share and UND was awarded $2.2 million.
In terms of advertising (also labeled sponsorship in the document), RE Arena Inc. made $769,000 and paid out $432,000 to UND
Where's the rest of the money. Where does food and beer sales go?
I'm going to take a shot at the $. This will take some time and estimates and fine tune as go along. Any help much appreciated.
If FB had over 2,000 students ave and the Hawks Nest had over 10,000 avg attendance, then 8,000 seats sold. Times $25 seat = $200,000 x 5 games = 1M$, also remember $400,000 or whatever from FBS Utah game, which I'm not adding in.
MBB about 1500 seats
WBB??
VB ??
If Hockey had over 3,000 students and The Ralph had over 11,000 avg attendance, then 8,000 seats sold. Times $45 seat $360,000 x 18 games not counting playoffs = 6.5M$. No counting what students pay for their tickets.
This seems more like 8M$ in ticket sales where the reports from Tupa's post and SBoHE show 4.6M$
Please tell me I'm doing something wrong here?
Season tickets for hockey are not face value. They are $465 (45 for the quarterfinal 2 of playoff series). Your math would equal 810 per seat.
Season football tickets, 95 for 5 games.

Sounds like Hornbachers is still working on the formula to try and emulate the old Hugos buns. The current product isn't the end product right now.
They need to announce it when they figure it out. I won't eat another hoping for it to be changed.

Better question is why does a facility that is still a year or two away from being 15 years old have such a leaky roof? Seems like there is more to that than the Herald went into because it doesn't add up.
A good question to ask and have answered.

Not understanding why Kennedy is against the REA spending 800K on a new roof for the Betty. It currently leaks constantly. It's not UND $, it's Engelstad $ paying for it.

Are the rest of the grinder ingredients the same at RP East as the original RP?
Don't know. The other option is buy the buns at hugos, pint of white sauce and taco meat from rp, regular summer sausage and white American from l&m, and any store for shredded iceberg lettuce, and a red pepper sauce from your fridge (cholula is my choice). And you have a rp salami grinder with taco meat
-
RP east is now my only destination, until the original rp's bring back hugos buns. Sucks since the south store is so close to home

Bunch of morons responding in that twitter thread. They refuse to understand why the no goal couldn't be overturned.

Who was the u17 player that was brought up to play with the u18s just before they played at the Ralph last season.
Is he still on the u18 team in the current gold medal game? And has he committed anywhere? Also has Hughes committed?

I'll change anti hockey to those in this thread who are ripping hockey, the program, the team, the coaches, etc
Like oxbow, I've never heard anyone at hockey ragging on other UND sports. In fact, most everyone I know has tickets for all sports
