I dont think that's the issue Victory offered the UMD, UND & UM games for free. Its whatever Victory agrees upon that the cable companies can show. -They've allowed Charter in Duluth to show UMD games -Time Warner in Mpls can show UMD, UND, and UM games -Comcast in St Paul is the same as TW -DirectTv isnt showing any of them so far Dish Network is the only one showing all of them

How many topics do we need on who is carrying it and who isnt?? http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2402 http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2400 http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2401 http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2398 http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2378

Victory is carrying all the regional games. The way I understood it, is Victory is showing all of them, but if cable companies pick it up, it might just be the local teams one. The offer was the UND, UMD, and Um games for free. Midco in GF is carrying the UND games on Ch 23 Charter in Duluth is carrying the UMD games on Ch 19 Dish has all of them on Ch 464 TW & Comcast have them on Digital cable. Don't know if its all of them or just UMD, UND & UM.

You should be all set to go then Dont ask what channel...have no clue
-
Correct The Final 4 is on ESPN (for the semi's on the 8th) and ESPN (for the final on 4/10)
-
What I heard this morning is that Comcast & Time Warner will have the games, but it is only available to people who have Digital Cable. So if you have a box that goes above channel 99, you have Digital and should (key word is shuold) be able to see it. I would contact Comcast if I were you to make sure.

According to NCAASports.com, the WI games are (will be if they advance) on UPN 14 (they have it listed as WISC, but I thought WISC was the CBS affiliate in Madison?) But it is on UPN 14 East Regional Semifinal Game #2 - Albany, New York Friday, March 26, 2004, 8:30 p.m. Eastern time Live Clearances Madison, Wisconsin WISC (UPN 14) East Regional Final - Albany, New York Saturday, March 27, 2004, 6 p.m. Eastern time Live Clearances Madison, Wisconsin (if Wisconsin advances) WISC (UPN 14)

Duluth can see UMD games on Ch 19 GF can see UND on Ch 23 Time Warner & Comcast in Mpls/St Paul will have them on their digital tiers (unknown on how many games) Dish Network is carrying all the games on 464 (for MN, ND and SD only) C-Band users can get the live feed so the ones that are shut out for sure are DirectTv
-
Got some more info on the games on Dish Network from DishNetwork.com NCAA Division I Men's Hockey Regionals LIVE March 26

Victory is giving the games featuring UND, UMD, and UM for free. None of the other games will be shown. (at least that is how I interpreted it)
-
It is also going to be shown in GF http://fightingsioux.com/sports/mhockey/re...RELEASE_ID=2818
-
Nope DirectTv already has said they arent carrying it And it isnt the HC feed....All games are produced by ESPN..
-
This is proof its on Midco http://fightingsioux.com/sports/mhockey/re...RELEASE_ID=2818 GRAND FORKS, N.D.
-
and Bullodgs fans, too Victory does suck btw...check out a funny site on that. This big Twins fan is mad about Victory not being on cable so he has a site devoted to it www.boycottthetwins.com

Unfortunatelly, DirectTv isnt carrying it. they said they have a substantial amount of games on the other RSN's....however, neither West semi is on...just the east or NE ones. Hopefully Dish carries it. I know they said they would, but never can be too sure.
-
Dish Network is suppose to be carrying Fargo/GF locals in April (tenativelly.....Duluth locals were suppose to go up in August and they finally got uplinked last week. So Duluth area people might be able to get locals within a week or so) DirectTv will launch locals once their new satellite goes up and is functional (sometime this summer)
-
easy (and not the one you want to hear) answer.....no long answer...There are 3 types of satellite C-band...the old style that had the 7-10 foot dish in the back yard KU Band.newer style of above...uses a dish 30" or larger DBS..Dish Network or DirectTv Within C & KU band, there is analog & digital Analog signals can be picked up with any old style C/KU band receiver Digital needs a newer style of receiver (also called a DVB receiver). Some receivers you have to program in everything to pick it up, some do not (like the Satworks receiver). One type will not pick up the other signal (analog wont get digital signals and vise versa) FSSN is on digital What coordinates are being listed are the "Feeds"..the live uncut (and sometimes uncensored) feed that ESPN is sending out to the stations that are showing it. They insert their own commercials, whereas the live feed we usually get to see camerapeople zoom in on good looking women during the commercial breaks. Unfortunatelly, these particualr feeds are on C-Band Analog, so unless you have an old C-Band receiver and a 7-10 foot dish or Dish Network (as they are going to show the games involving UW,UM, UMD, and UND) you will have to find a bar that has it. It sucks because I have a C/KU analog receiver, but only a 30" dish for KU. So I cant get it either. Hopefully Dish does carry it like they said they are going to.

Interesting......my contact at Dish said this morning that they were still looking it over and hadn't decided yet. This is good news. Now to find out which channel......probably one of the RSN Alternate ones (445-448)
-
Since when? In the other post here Dish Network has yet to agree to it, contrary what PA or Dubay or whomever said otherwise.
-
What the hell is going to Best Buy and buying a dish going to do?? DirectTv already said they arent going to carry Victory for the NCAA's, because most of the games can be seen on other Regional Sports Networks And contrary to what Dubay or PA or whoever said it, Dish HAS NOT agreed to carry it (this was per my contact at Dish this morning)
-
I have to correct my post above.. It was offered for free to the companies ONLY for games including UM, UND or UMD.. No other games would be shown (at least the way it made it sound)
-
even though it might be a dream.... UMD all the way!!!!!
-
It was offered to the cable/satellite networks As of this morning, no one has yet taken them up on the offer. (not even Dish...although they are working on it)
-
even though it sounds very tempting, unfortunatelly where I live, there is no way I could put a C-Band dish in the ground or on the roof. Dang Home Owners Association.

I think he "tweaked" his knee as they were saying on the UMD broadcast. Since the only way they can say exactly what it is if it comes from Junior, all they can do is specualte. Got checked at a wrong angle. One of those fluke things.
