  1. nice pic dirty....................can someone please get some badgers into the arena, you get my point http://dirtysdiatribe.blogspot.com/
  2. he hasnt been bad but NO goals in 9 games isnt good at all for him and he would be the first person to say that. he has more of a target obviously but that wont stop toews and every top player in the nhl gets tons of attention
  3. he is off to a slower start with 5 assists in 9 games and hes getting a little the heat from the fans. he will snap out of it. not 1 goal is brutal for him in this early season. im sure the fans will start to say that wearing the C is maybe a bit much at his age. who knows. im sure he will break out of the goal slump soon! hopefully......
  4. UPDATES USHL CICHY tied for 6th in USHL with 5-5=10 points. Lead his team (Tri-City) easily leads team in shot with 37, next at 21. BRUNETEAU tied for 16th in USHL with 4-4=8 points. Tied for 2nd on his team (Omaha). GLEASON leads all defensemen on his team in goals with 2. (Des Moines) Leads his team with a +4 rating. KRISTO has 1-5=6 points in 9 games.leads team with 47 shots, next with 35. FINK 1-2=3 points in 6 games. USHL STATS http://www.pointstreak.com/stats/pro/scori...p;seasonid=3192 AJHL MACWILLIAM 19 games played. 7 assists. tied for 3rd on team with 65 PIM (Camrose)
  5. it was done first by irmen in grand forks being he lived in the area, then chorney did it to react to irmen in that same game. the gophers are the only team who pop their jerseys a few times a year. kessel did it and put the ear cup out first in sconnie as he was from there and the kid did it the other night as hes from sconnie as well. i couldnt care less if they do that, just put them on thier ass if they do it then. pretty easy
  6. just looked again and my nhl network station shows north dakota vs wisconsin. 830 est time so yes im sure.
  7. Who would have thought when these two teams would face eachother their combined record would be 1-8-1 The BADgers are winless this young season and just tied and lost to the Gophers this last weekend. They have played a very hard schedule in BC, UNH, Denver as well. Lets hope Joe Finley, Matt Watkins and David Toews have healed and will be ready for this coming HALLOWEEN weekend at the ralph. Will each goalie play? I hope to see the goalie who wins friday get the nod saturday! The Badgers and Mike Eaves have to be wondering what they have to do to get a win, lets hope the Sioux keep them winless and pick up 2 important wins in the WCHA and get the overall record back to .500. SIOUX SWEEP - GO SIOUX I saw on the TV schedule Friday nights game will be aired on the NHL Network. Overall Record: 1-3-0 (.250) WCHA: 1-1-0, 2 points Home: 0-0-0
  8. i just saw 0 for 10 on the PP. i can see a big difference in this gopher team but so far with team speed. the gophers dont have 1 physical player (lucia maybe) which may hurt them in certain areas and have had almost the same result in 3 games scoring goals. just tough for kangas to do that every single night and expect wins. hes damn solid. not sure if the reffing was awful or they are just doing their job to try to clean the wcha game up as discussed in the off season. another tie tonight.....3-3. with that many penalties called around the league there has a be a few PP goals tonight im guessing 22 total penalties tonight
  9. that uw/umtc game was very hard to watch. i was having dinner with the family and there were so many damn penalties it was crazy. i know that is what the refs are trying to change up with clutching and grabbing but wow. wasnt much flow and the to cap it off a boring 2-2 tie. ive already said this and the gophers look much faster overall but when you still only score 2 goals a game you arent going to string a bunch of wins together. did kangas get hurt as uscho boxscore has patterson playing 8 minutes for the gophs??
  10. zajac goal from parise already. zajac may have his breakout year this season and then get PAID!

  14. http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/ USA Hockey will announce on Monday that Buffalo is going to host the 2011 World Juniors. Grand Forks and the Twin Cities also were finalists. For further updates, check GrandForksHerald.com.
  15. brad has pics and info of the nhl wall down at the ralph by te locker room or whereever. sweet job and has to be a hell of a reminder of what hard work can turn into! go sioux http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/
  16. wow, a whole week early. the sioux dont play til next weekend
  17. he is a fill in player as of now in his young career. if there isnt a injury and he isnt in the lineup, he is better fit to play every night in the AHL rather than sitting in the press box for the blues being the 13th or 14th forward. he will be up and down and eventually be a nice 3rd or 4th liner for the blues in years to come
  18. ushl blog of best uncommited players - forney is listed - i know he is a former player but he is also a prospective recruit as well, you get my point http://ushlhockey.blogspot.com/2008/10/200...ncommitted.html
  19. there may be somewhere in this thread as USA has mentioned the elite league a few times
  20. gona go see hale and the coyotes play tonight live for the first time this year. they play the capitals which is always a plus watching ovechkin flying around the ice. the last time he was here he did this below...amazing to see live http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzbmI6-YSnQ
  21. they sent him down yesterday. they are deep at D and as of now hes the 5h or 6th guy. im sure he will be back up soon if he works on what they want him to
  22. porter sent down. he made a nice mark when he was up. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/transactions
  23. That's actually where I got that from is Coach (Dave) Hakstol in North Dakota," Oshie said. "He demands work ethic ... skill only goes so far and then you're work ethic's got to take over." And hard work is the main ingredient of a successful penalty kill. "I love the PK," Oshie said. "It's always fun when you're at a disadvantage to try to outwork the power play. That's what you're on the penalty kill for, to outwork them."
