great? no way, not even close as he has 1 goal and is a -7 which is tied for worst o the team on the season in all 13 games but maybe someday. a solid 3rd to 4th liner as a freshman, yes. minny has many more players than they usually do that sit every night so that role will be filled by someone hungry for playing time.

oh well. if everyone thought the same thing this world would be beyond boring fans right now have the right to be negative IMO as the sioux havent shown anything yet. that doesnt mean fans cant change their mind as the season goes along but right now the frusterating thing is how inconsistent the sioux are scoring goals and thats the only reason we are 4 games under .500 everything else is solid enough to get wins. score goals sioux! i like to call a spade a spade and until this team gets a sweep and shows life of offense then negative thoughts are gona be creeping around. that changes this weekend

lets give gregoire, hextall and toews a little time. if toews didnt get hurt he would be right up there with the other 2 in points. this class is dam solid overall with the 2 d men and BE. adding next years scorers will only make them better lets remember how big that class was. wasnt it 13 players if im not mistaken? im not making an excuse at all. just simply pointing it out as i had forgotten how dang big it was. the top tier draft/impact players are already gone and have been gone in oshie, toews, lee, chorney. duncan is still around and IMO kozek is the best goal scorer we have but needs to be set up for the lethal shot along with hobey baker/duncs. it was a very top heavy class and the problem is we havent had a top heavy class since IMO and others that ive read expressing that opinion. a balance is what is needed but this years freshman class has the potential and is showing good things. i sure hope they turn it around vs harvard. kozek is one of the guys that would be great to see get going and help this team score goals. matt white has lots of time to grow and hes under a good hockey mind in des moines with 2 other future sioux recruits playing for jp parise wow this was a huge class oshie - NHL toews - NHL duncan - SIOUX watkins - SIOUX miller - SIOUX kozek - SIOUX chorney - AHL lee - AHL jones - SIOUX finley - SIOUX martens - SIOUX alexander - GONE walski - SIOUX

MILLER time episode 10 part 1 part 2
-
just wathced the press conference - not word for word. just a sloppy recap HAK says.........no way to put time frame on trupp being out. trupps ran into injuries last 3-4 years and is bad luck. injuries are part of the game. hes very tough and has to work on getting healthy and better and back on the ice. go week by week with trupps spot. toews is on trupps unit up the middle. joes out til further notice. not fair to joe to comment. kristo is a young guy puting a nice resume together. danny kristo has believed in himself and worked hard to this point after not making minnesota select 15 festival. he will be driven to continue to achieve more and proud of him and happy for him and his family. harvard is good hard working team. they are undefeated at home. harvard is setting up special shuttle buses around campus to get people to the building. something like that. sounds like they are ready for the sioux to come to town and we will be ready as well. they base their success on good team play and hard work. we have to outwork our oppenents more often than not. had good friday night and saturday was happy with level of play and work ethic. tough game in trenches, didnt come easily either way. 1st goal was big and cornell got it. back to our grass roots working hard and lunch pail hockey. miller isnt gona become 100% comfortable back there but its growing. his ability to read situations have improved and he has to continue to improve. hes improving on both ends. hes picking his spots with more confidence. hes having more impact game in and and out. FRATTIN SAYS........starting to put goals in but need to tie wins together. play solid 60 minutes and 120. dont know too much about harvard. suppose to be pretty good and always in the top 3 in their league. good break away from wcha and play some non conference teams but look forward to playing scsu but not looking ahead right now. lot more confident in my play

meida day stuff - not good on trupp, just means mario or davidson will step in and contribute nightly with miller on the blueline that leaves just 1 forward as a scratch now.i really like the toews with gregoire and frattin line idea. http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/ Weekly Wednesday update At today's weekly meeting with local media members, UND coach Dave Hakstol said that forward Evan Trupp is out indefinitely with an arm injury. Hakstol mentioned that Trupp will be re-evaluated on a weekly basis, but he won't be going to Boston this weekend. It's another tough injury for Trupp, who has faced a string of them in his career. Last year, he fractured a bone in his ankle and missed the final month of the season. The year before, he had his appendix rupture during a game and had emergency surgery. And the year before that, Trupp suffered a shoulder injury during the playoffs. Hakstol said that Trupp is a tough player, but he's been unlucky. David Toews may play up the middle with Matt Frattin and Jason Gregoire. Hakstol said he didn't want to say much about Joe Finley's injury situation. Frattin, Darcy Zajac and Chay Genoway also were at the press conference. Frattin, maybe appropriately after his first career college hat trick Friday night, wore a Superman shirt to the press conference. Brad Miller, speaking like a true promoter, says to "look for the new episode of Brad Miller Time!" A chat with operations director Pat Swanson and an episode of 'Cribs' will soon be featured.

agree and thats been stated many times by many posters here and thats right on. if we can drop 3 goals per game we will have a good chance to win many games
-
i dont think it has anything to do what the fans think. hes playing the right goalie overall. you play who gives you the best chance to win and thats BE. im sure there is a lot of competition overall and i also took from lsitening and reading on BE that he expects a hell of a lot out of himself to help the team win every night. there is many teams in the nation that you can say if the starting goalie goes down then the team may being in trouble. lets get that win friday and hopefuly get a damn sweep!!

its been updated in the commited recruit thread last night. great to hear. sounds like a solid forward. 6'2 foward. good size.

yeah i do as well. he will probably be the 13th forward which is still great for him and im sure his international success lately is a reason he made this team. maybe he started later in school when younger. he, cichy and danny mattson are gona do big things! i believe the nhl network will be paying the usa games -

the last thing anyone wants to do is make this about walski not being good enough and so forth but your logic doesnt make one bit of sense. you dont play a goalie at this level because they are a senior and one is a freshman. thats so far off any coaches thinking its not even funny. you play who you feel gives the team the best chance to win overall on a nightly basis and we are so far from the point of throwing a season away calling it a rebuilding year just to play a guy who is a walk on who has moved to the 2nd string. even if it was you would play your future goalie but it isnt. i think i will trust the coaches in this situation and probably think they know what they are doing playing BE.it sint about bashing walski at all which nobody is doing but simply calling it how it is and the sioux coaching staff seem to be thinking the same way. i respect everyones opinions here but will have to completely agree to disagree

if you ae good enough you are good enough to play no matter what line. this isnt mitey mites where everyone gets equal playing time. if the goalie is better than play the goalie. pretty simple. who cares what class they are in.
