everything ive heard is this kid has major juniors written all over him but for whatever reason they are keeping the option open for college. i still think he will end up major junior but if he wants to play college then have that jersey ready for him at the ralph the only thing thats good is he has a brother and cousin who went the college route., who knows.....
-
thats the dumbest article title ive ever read also that was a waste of a web page as well, a story that mentioned nothing of importance by meyers
-
no lammy or parise come on dave, a little early to make that statement dont you think.........he has 3 to 4 years to help lead a team to a national title which neither of those players have so lets wait a but before making such a bold statement ummm, its not that hes that bad at all. why do you feel for the kid? he came in as a 3rd string walk on and knew he didnt have a pro college hockey career in front of him or that much of a chance to play many games at UND. hes getting his education and seems to be a hell of a teammate and guy overall. hes pushing BE in practice which is very important and most walk on goalies know their situation when they step on campus. i bet if you asked aaron himself he would tell you his college career is far from a waste. its a hell of a story for a walk on to last 4 years actually and then to move up to 2nd string. how the heck can you compare BE to jpar and phil lamoureux after 13 career starts his freshman season? not even logical to say that at this point. not even close. you dont need freshman goalies to compare him to. i see a young goalie thats doing very well and making saves when needed. its obvious its more about you feeling bad for a 3rd string walk on goalie from fargo than anything. i think ill go with the coaching staff on this one and say BE is the starter and will be every game until he proves otherwise as the sioux are moving in the right direction again......my points arent a slam at AW at all. i dont even need to state that but i want to as i respect the hell out of every sioux player and how he has climbed from walk on to 2nd string at a top tier division 1 college hockey program but the situation is very clear
-
i get your point he is the only starting freshman goalie because thats how it played out with every other program and what years their goalies happen to be. his numbers are fine and have been and are only getting better, especially the shot stat padding the harvard stat crew came up with on friday night the main thing is the wins and 3 out of the last 4 is great and thats a direct result of the sioux scoring goals in 3 of the 4 games and BE being very solid in each of the games. saying hes 7th in the league isnt really a stat considering there are only 10 teams. that was my point i guess. BE is the man for the sioux and barring a huge setback he will start a ton more games this season. go sioux, lets sweep the "one and doners"

potential former sioux tonight http://www.nhl.com/scores/index.html?navid=NAV|SCR|Main jason blake - toronto vs ny islanders drew stafford - buffalo vs pittsburgh tj oshie - st louis vs nashville - tj seems to be out tonight after reagravating his high ankle sprain last game
-
numbers dont tell the whole story in many instances but i think we can all agree the D and BE were not the issue leading up to the last couple weekends. it was all about the scoring and when we get 3 goals we seem to win the sioux have 7 wins, all 7 wins they scored 3 or more goals. they are 7-1 when scoring 3 or more goals with the lone loss at CC losing 7-4. heck if we would have gotten 3 goals in 3 other games we would have 2 more wins and 1 more tie giving up only 2 goals in 2 of those games and 3 in the other. i know those may have not ended that way but just making the point that we dont give up many goals as a whole and when we score 3 goals or more we have won and can continue to stack wins
-
of course its the context ill hold hold you to your sioux sweep gophs prediction
-
our D have been just fine. they make mistakes here and there but so does everyones D. the problem was offense and that has really picked up when needed badly. if that keeps up around the 3-4 goal mark per game this team will win many games this year throughout. miller has really pick up the slack on the D side on the lack of scoring. he and genoway are 2 very dangerous offensive d men and that has been a very good move by the coaching staff as it was needed with joe out. just think if lapoint and marto get going as well!! keep scoring 3 to 4 and the wins will keep piling up!!
-
which wouldnt happen anyways

scsu can score but they arent a offensive powerhouse by any means. first to 4 wins either game before scoring 4 and 6 this last weeekend at mankato scsu scored 1 goal in their previous 2 games so who knows. they have scored 1 goal 3 times this season and been shutout once as well by uw. have the sioux broken out? scoring 22 goals i their last 4 games with 1 game scoring 1 goal and the other 3 games being 7 goals, 10 goals and 4 goals...........the sioux have scored 50 goals total on the season and scsu has scored 59 total goals...scsu has 27 total goals in 10 wcha games and the sioux have scored 25 total goals in 10 wcha games. sioux stats scsu stats the sioux have given up 49 total goals on the season and 32 in wcha play - scsu has given up 38 total goals and 25 goals in wcha play sioux sweep and go 1 game over .500 into the break and grab 4 very important wcha points with their next wcha series not until a month away vs umtc 5-4 4-2

hak schedules the east coast trips and non conference games on neutral sites for one reasona and thats for the NC$$ tourney when you may get sent out eas. i hear siouxweet on the home games thing but i think that will change year by year by a game or 2 and who we have contracts with. im glad they go on the road every season and play tough teams as some other teams dont and never have due to different reasons. GO SIOUX
-
you are right, he played 06 and 07 and cleaned house with some golds and some sharp shooting shootout goals
-
agree 110% on this and i hope this thread was made for fun as i highly doubt many think BE shouldnt be starting. if a player is playing well or has played well or not playing well they can be called out either way without getting personal that is. BE is the man but dont make this is BE vs walski thing as im guessing thats what this thread is about. BE numbers arent even stand out compared to the league so the numbers posted dont seem to make any sense. bottom line is wins and losses and who gives the team the best chance to win and thats been decided. go sioux, beat the scsu "one and doners" with another great team effort weekend
