im not thrilled with the 2-2 tie but for the most part they seemed to lack the intensity but oh well. they stole a point and you move on to st cloud. just another big series in st cloud with du hosting alaska and minny with a home and home vs msu. the sioux had the ump to begin the 3rd without a doubt but killing 6 minutes of penalties will break that up fast which is what happened. BE did his job. i would love to see blood or fienhage in for lapoint. he really is timid still on many plays in the sioux end which cant happen. not aggresive at all. maybe a night or two off will light a spark for him individually as it can for players. thats all im saying. he has the skills but just is timid still at this point of the season and if jones can sit one night then im sure he can as well

The Sioux head into St. Cloud taking 3 valuable points from WCHA leader Denver. The Sioux won 8-3 Friday in a waxing and then a very hard fought 2-2 tie where Brad Eidsness made sure the Sioux would hold onto that all important 1 point. St Cloud is coming off a nice 3 point weekend in Colorado Springs getting a 4-4 tie Friday and winning easily 6-1 Saturday night. The Sioux are 10-2-2 in their last 14 games, 5-0-1 in their last 6 games and and 6-0-2 in their last 8 WCHA games. Two of those wins came over St. Cloud when the Sioux swept the Huskies in Grand Forks December 12,13. WCHA STANDINGS Overall Record: 15-10-3 WCHA: 10-5-3, 23 points Home: 9-3-1

great weekend by the sioux. 3 points is great. 1 point behind du for the wcha lead. very hard fought tie. BE was friken awesome and made sure we got that point. flat out awesome. this kid has IT. sometimes you need those huge saves to ensure even a tie and he sure did that many times tonight. cant wait till the sioux hit the ice next weekend. ill get that preview up later tonight. good job sioux!! seeing gwoz do the dasher dance 2 nights in a row is priceless, seriously priceless. i only wish he would have pet himself in the penalty box and sit there. would have been classic

hextall will blow prpichs numbers out of the water when all said and done. same agitator type but hextall will be more productive in the scoring sheet prpich went 17, 15, 8 and 12 for total points for his 4 years = 52 career total points hextall is at 8-8=16 as of now

it was vossberg who radke pummeled. not testwuide. radke and testwuide tangled earlier trhat game but it was vossberg who ended up dancing with radke - and vossberg was the same toolbox who grabbed finley while on the bench last night as he wasnt even on the ice. thats should be a auto suspension as you cant get involved from the bench. maybe gwozman should check into that in his code of ethics book he loves to use
