I play Rocco with those 2 way before gaarder but who knows what these lines will look like friday. Gaarder rowney cag maybe

I don't read any hype on odonnell? I think many have stated he needs to step it up including coach Hakstol earlier this year. I think we will find out a lot this stretch on what type of player he is. Some roles change from juniors but sometimes it takes time to figure it out. Kozek and Watkins brought in big bchl numbers and were much different players than expected. Odonnell does need to pick it up and finish a play for once !
-
That's how I see it as well. Rodwell is the guy for that 4th line. Once everyone is back then that last 3rd line spot will come down to odonnell and gaarder. Probably a important weekend for odonnell and how he plays on both ends
-
Step on CC when down! I think Schwartz may have like 30 poins vs UND in his career. Ha. That's fine if he's the only one willing 5-2 6-4 barn burner with en

Yeah I see him as a 3rd liner exactly! You nailed his skill sets and he has proven he can play at this level. I like Rocco on top 2 if gaarder is on 3rd. If gaarder plays on the 4th then you can get more creative with Rocco and that 3rd line.

It's going to be a very tough decision but a decision Hak wished be had at this point on last season. Whoever doesn't play Friday may get a crack sat with this group of forwards.

Trouba follows Kristos good medal winning song with the same minus a few pitch problems right Randy Jackson?!? Ha. Great wjt win for USA hockey! http://undhockey.areavoices.com/?p=92757

I don't think gaarder is a good 4th liner. That's my point. He can score but as my buddy jason pointed out he's much more disruptive on both ends on the 4th line with his speed and physical play. we all know rodwell isnt scoring. If gaarder plays he's a 3rd liner at best on this team
-
Can't argue here. I think Mitch will be a nice boost to this lineup! They had moments last weekend but yeah odonnell just can't bury one and he got set up from both mcs last weekend. Hype and potential can be used for odonnell but not rodwell. He's a junior now and we all know what we get with him. He also knows and understands his role which is nice. It's a tough 4th line regardless. Hak has some moves to make this week

Same type of players except Connor has added scoring. Rodwell hasn't sat many games if at all in his career and that's for a reason. Not saying he won't sit here and there but it won't be nightly. St Clair has a role along with the general. If odonnell doesn't start getting it going gaarder can play over him but then you start flippijg guys as gaarder isnt a top 2 line guy. 21 already sat this year along with Gleason and mattson. I see odonnell staying in the lineup so it's going to be a hell of a tough decision. maybe flip flop 2 guys fri/sat for a few weeks to keep everyone fresh. Do we see Zane anytime soon?!?

How many conference game will the big 10 teams play? Will everyone play 2/3 series vs each other or 4/6 times or are they all just going to load up non conference cup cakes? What a absolute joke it would be this year, lucky for them as a whole. Bad bad teams. Besides Ohio state hanging on by a finger nail in the pairwise umtc sits a top of that little hill

Ha, whoops that was pretty funny

Good point. Well the NHL can fork over what they need to then in a lump sum so we all can enjoy it for free:) glad hockey is back! Bettman should set up a DUNK TANK in every single market filled with ice cubes. Could raise a couple mil probably as he sits up top shivering away:)
-
Yeah it's a different game in major juniors. Trades especially! Now with the NHL back up there could be tons of movement from NCAA/MJ/ECHL/AHL//NHL.
-
When's Rocco back out in the ice? Tuesday or wed? Look forward to seeing this team with every playmaker in the lineup! Rodwell still a week or two away?
-
If the center ice package isn't free then it's time for major drug testing in the NHL offices in New York. Hell in the non hockey markets that don't sell out tickets should be given to every school or church or boys and girls club or available at the box office for 5.00. This doesn't take a marketing genius to figure out by any means but for some reason I think they will f it up somehow. With a short season the Stanley cup is up for grabs! It must be crazy right now for all the players over seas heading back, free agents, injuries. I'm getting more and more excited, the center ice package better be free for everyone!

Holy cross isn't that good of a team. Middle pack team maybe of the 50 something teams. When the only line you hear about a team coming in is' well they beat Yale and Yale beat the Colorado schools blah blah' really? Who cares, they aren't that quality of a team. Hc didnt beat the denver schools. They will maybe stay in as a tuc because they will win more but a few loses vs that competition will hurt on the flip side. Just do the eye test/pairwise check when evaluating a teams schedule in January to April. Sioux swept which was awesome and now its on to much tougher teams.the bottom teams in the WCHA are as good if not better than HC. Sweep CC!!
-
No apologies needed. I don't mind paying any amount to a game. Supply and demand. Sto tickets around 100.00 each right now. Anything else 140.00 to 200.00 a ticket. Go sioux!
-
Read my mind! Just was coming back to add him
-
Can't wait to see the former players back on the ice! Toews, Oshie, Greene, Parise, zajac , stafford, frattin, Nelson at that level when healthy. That's a solid 2 lines for any team trying to raise that cup
-
CC got swept by UNO. Time for another sweep with Rocco back.
-
Grimaldi will help out any line. I think Corban went 20-4 in face offs tonight or close to that. Him and Danny are in beast mode
-
Besides the kid from Bentley (seriously have never heard of Bentley until I looked at these stats) Walters, Leblanc and Schwartz have played 3 games more than Corban. 1 of those remember Corban suspended opening game.
-
Leblanc and Walters had 1. 4 back now. Kristo not far behind
-
HOBEY KNIGHTER!! Kristo with a big time shot to win it and Clarke with awesome save late!
