The first one was not a touchdown. The 2nd one is a touchdown for those with common sense, however that type of play was ruled as an incomplete pass a couple times this year.

Pretty crazy how good QB's can be in this league when they decide not to call holding on the offensive lines all day.

I couldn't believe they let the Eagles off the hook twice on the final play. Hogan got decked about 20-25 yards downfield on the final play which is illegal contact and another down at a minimum. He gets up and makes his way toward the scrum at the goal line only to be interfered with and pushed away from the play which would have been pass interference and a first down at the 1 or 2 yard line and another snap.

probably the way the NFL season should end.

Once the ball was touched by gronk in the end zone hogan was free to be tackled, no pass interferences on a tipped ball.

Nick Foles is the nice guy I cheered for. He has to be a pretty happy camper this morning!

Carson (also nice guy) went down with an injury and missed this playing opportunity, would have he got it done? Maybe the team chemistry would have been different with him vs the Vikings and the home team would of won the SB LII? I did say maybe, never know.

Foles MVP played great, threw touch downs and caught one, while Brady did the first but dropped a pass.

Maybe the nucleus of this Philly team is the team outside of the Q?

Maybe Carson isn't like one of the best, but the team really compliments it's Q's?

Carson will most likely have another opportunity next season. Will he completely recover, become injury prone, start to lose his supporting cast, ever play in the big one and win, or play many years and be very successful?

Just adding a local analogy: Remember how good Cam Johnson was in MH two years ago behind one of the best defenses ever assembled in college hockey.

Philly has a great team with players and coaches combined. How good would these two Q's have been with let's say a team like Cleveland this last season, surely not in the running for any type of MVP?

    Congratulations Eagles!

I feel like, instead of being enlightened by your vast football knowledge, I just went through a verbal lobotomy.

If you guys want to get your royal a$$es kissed, it ain't happening on this forum.

Take the "My Oh My" show back to Bisonville, please.

    Thank you.

I'd rather you turd burglars just stay on bisonville.

Easy thing to do, have moderators kick all fans from other schools off of your talk forum! It would be pretty fun around here I’m sure.

  5. You are right, Braden Hendrickson passed for 600 yards against the worst Montana team to ever field a team, maybe we see if he has a year of eligibility left and get rid of this cancer that is Easton stick.

I don't understand why you get so angry. You've had the best team in the FCS for half a decade. If UND was on that run I wouldn't care what anyone said. All I was getting at was that Stick isn't the best player on that team, Wentz was. I believe that a number of different QB's could win a title at NDSU. It's not a chink in the armor, he just isn't the most important player.

    Fair enough.

    Stick is average at best.

Thank the defense, running game, and JMU having a bad day in the red zone for NDSU's 6th FCS title, certainly not Easton Stick.

    Move along now, Rancher.

Would you want Easton stick on your team?

Good one. Even only picking from our D1 era I’d take Marcus Hendrickson and Braden Hanson over Stick. You guys had to win games in spite of him. Superstar my ass. He’s a game manager and can hardly do that with his arm at times.

You would be the only one then!

He’s not even close to a superstar you pillock.

I’m sure this year when you do your annual position by position comparison you can find joy in saying und has the edge at qb?

I'm not knocking the kid, a winner is a winner. I'm just wondering if you think he's the reason why they win, or he just plays his role on a very good team. Wentz isn't a fair comparison to anyone at the FCS level, but do you think NDSU could do what they do without Stick?

I know what you are trying to do, I don’t want to.....  you know what yes I do.

easton stick is better than any qb to ever play at und, and in spite of that I think that you are trying to find a supposed chink in ndsu’s armor to berate.  I don’t know if ndsu would have won an fcs championship with another qb, but they didn’t and I’m pretty happy with who they have at the helm next year.

Would you compare him to a Jalen Hurts? Great record, but he's not necessarily the reason why the record is great.

No. This kid has the chance to be the all time winningest qb in fcs history, and didn’t get pulled at halftime of a national championship game!  Like it or not boys this kid is what you would call a superstar at the fcs level.  Carson wentz is an anomaly, he should have never played fcs football.  Comparing fcs qb’s to him isn’t fair.

maybe for a schools like harvard or alcorn state...

losing in the first round of the ncaa bball tourney > winning an fcs championship

So how about winning in the first round of the NCAA basketball tournament?

Listening to News and Views on KFGO this morning and Joel Heitkamp thinks that if the Bison don't put the ball on the ground, they'll come home "smiling".

Someone needs to tell these people that James Madison is the defending FCS champion and on a 26 game winning streak. Also, this game will not be held in the Not-So Fabulous Fargodome.

Unlike their first three playoff opponents, JMU isn't going to lay down for the mighty Bison.

If the players are buying into this "show up and win" thinking, it will be a long trip back home next weekend for the FBS wanna-be's.

Joel is yours, please keep a leash on him.

No disrespect to Mr. Wentz, but Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind, who was murdered for her unborn child, was (unfortunately) the most noteworthy person in Fargo Forum's coverage area this year.

I don't think that award means what you think it means.  It is not the biggest news story of the year award, it's the person of the year award.  By the way, the herald put out its person of the year award today too.

So you want UND to quit playing for national titles and move up to play in some Bowl most of the country won’t remember? 5-7 gets you a bowl bid, I guess that’s something to be proud of.

When has und played for an fcs national title?
