I would of liked our chances if we had the lead down the stretch of that game. Coachs took away the chance at seeing what would of happened. That call was a game changer.

No it really wasn’t, the interception after that was the game changer

  2. Your own moderator gets it, he says ndsu does nothing overly exceptional, they just do the little things exceptionally well.

Und seems to have mental breakdowns a few times a game of not doing the little things exceptionally well.   as an outsider, I feel that is a coaching problem.

Your third paragraph is an entire what if scenario……

I hang my hat in the defense that game with the way they were playing.

I know it was a what if scenario, I was trying to point out that both sides can play the what if game.

there was a ton of time left in that game and the fourth down call wasn’t the deciding factor like some people on here like to think.

und has a good talent base, Otis weah is a dude. Und just needs to learn to execute the the little things to a high level.

  4. While I’m at it, why does everyone on here think that if bubba punted on that fourth down play und would have won the game?

it was a three point swing, who knows how play calls may have changed, way to many variables were left to play out in that game.

who knows, maybe cam Miller would have come in and thrown two touchdowns in a come from behind win?

Playing the what if game just feels desperate.

Because there has never been a team that has improved, matured or gotten better the following year?

No, because every team that you lost to, wait for it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    also has returning players!!!

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I disagree. I think we will be great next year. We are so close this year, and have nearly everyone back.

Is having everyone back from a team with a losing record necessarily a good thing?

Thats a legitimate question by the way.

You are not an intelligent person, your posts are not funny, I pity any human being that may have had you as a nurse!

The committee is seeding 2019 teams into a 2019 bracket. Last year should mean nothing this year: That team is not this team.

A ‘pedigree’ argument means one has nothing else to use as the case for a team for this season.

lf pedigree matters Eastern Kentucky (6-5) should be pleased as their 21 all-time playoff appearances should be pedigree enough to get them in this season.

    Soooo, 0% chance?

Yo Tex, a 7-5 EWU would only have six DI wins and their best win per Massey Ratings would be over UND.

    Pedigree.

A pedigree doesn’t happen in one year sic.  If you think ewu has 0% chance of making the playoffs this year, just come out and say it.  Myself, I would not say 0% chance

No 6 game DI wins get in during this 12 game season.  You better check your heifer jumped the fence and looking for action.

Never say never ewu has a pedigree, I know slamming me personally makes you feel better, but try not to let it get in the way of a football conversation amongst adults.

  11. 1 hour ago, Nodak78 said:

    No.  It doesn't

Yes. It does, the committee will take ewu  over und in that scenario every time.  They were in the National championship last year.  Und fans don’t think that matters, but the rest of the country does.

ewu also has a conference with a chair at the selection table. Und doesn’t

This team is top ten.  Better than the 2015 team the was screwed out of playoffs.  Playoffs and at least one win could be two.  Real love NDSU 2 ND round.  Offense is much better defense much better. Bennett and Turner back. Love it

Your record is 5-4? And you are claiming to be a top ten team? Time to dial it back just a little bit.

What is Richman's system...hitting a ton of three's in the SL tourney?  His system sucked balls for the last 2.9 years.

BTW, their big NCAA tournament win was vs a team that was ranked below UND in Massey ratings. They would have been 7th in the Summit League.

Let's all just slow it down a bit with how great they are going to be.

Mmmm your salty tears are delicious!

  14. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure Pickens makes plenty of decisions down there, but they are viewed as positive decisions helping the university! Not the same perception the Engelstad family shadow falls on und! One only needs to look at this message board to see that.

Ummm, T Boone makes plenty of decisions down in Stillwater.

NDSU just spent 50 million dollars on a hodge-podged misfit. The Betty was free, we'll take it and it's 3300 seats..

Link where his daughter has gotten into a pissing match with the president playing out in the media, I’ll wait.

I posted the following last week.  You are correct that the original capacity of the Betty was to be in the low 4,000s.  It was built quickly as they wanted it done before UND hosted the World Junior Hockey Tourney in December, '04.  There was not much planning that went into it and seating was scaled back significantly at the last minute.

"The size of the Betty was decided by the Ralph.  In fact, when construction began, Coach Glas understood that the seating would be for 4,100.  Still too small but would have been much bigger/better than what we ended up with!"

So once again hockey and the Engelstad family were the bus drivers on a pretty major decision at a public university regarding other sports?  That gift has to be one of the most controversial gifts in the history of college gifts!  You never hear of crap like this from schools like Oklahoma state with t Boone Pickens donation to name one example.

They beat 300 RPI Oral Roberts, 334 RPI Western Illinois in the SEMI FINAL, and 130 RPI Omaha.  That's not necessarily a high achievement to win all three of those games.  They are lucky the summit sucks this year.  And they are also lucky Crandall left UND, because I think he would have put us at or near the top of the weak summit this year.

Ndsu is lucky that your program can’t hold on to players? I guess that’s one way to spin it and make yourself feel better!

With an average OC/QB coach last season, we win 8-9 games and are a seed in the playoffs.  With a good OC we win 10 games and are playing the Bison in a week and half.  The program is there.  We will beat NDSU next season.

Someone has been hitting the eggnog a little to hard this holiday season!

Jensen was committed to Texas State before Case flipped, apparently he enjoyed playing for Stitt in Montana a few years ago. Jensen will be eligible to play right away as a junior with 2 years left to play.

So my question is, do you guys really want qb rejects, or develop your own talent?
