  1. Trump is not some distinguished, respected statesman. Never will be. He is a reality TV star that just loves photo ops. Always has been. So he goes to NK and comes home and declares about Kim ''And then we fell in love, okay? No, really - he wrote me beautiful letters, and they’re great letters" . Ya, historic diplomacy. Covfefe.
  2. Awesome. I just watched that movie last night (for like the 50th time). Perhaps the most appropriate scene for these times (unfortunately) might be 'Bring out your dead!"
  3. omg this is hilarious, and exactly why nobody should support that circus clown Trump. Aren't you all getting a little tired of Trump's reality TV sh1t show? You might like his policies but are you really willing to pay any price?? Hey, I'm not like all anti-republican, I'm a registered Independent who has voted both 'R' and 'D', but I would never support such a f*ucking tool regardless of their party and their platform. This country deserves better than to have a bona fide moron as president.
  4. My thoughts are reflected in my votes and activism. That's the least I can do.
  5. Wow. Not sure where to begin on this. So you don't vote and we should never engage in activism? Okay, enjoy the rest of your life comrade. And everyone, to a person, should be outraged over Trumps commuting and pardons. So now people can lie to congress and obstruct justice and they don't have to worry 'cuz Trump got their back? Ah, the death of truth and justice is such a wonder to behold. And everyone should be just as outraged over corrupt Barr trying/succeeding in replacing US Attorneys with more 'friendly' types, like Trumps golfing buds. And the republicans turn a blind eye to this !@#$. Perhaps they should uphold their oath to defend the constitution instead of being abettors. And before all you Trumpers fire back your consistently witty and insightful rebuttals, just think if Hillary was elected and did the same !@#$ Trump does, you wouldn't say a word, right? Hell all your heads would look like that dood in the movie 'Scanners'. This period is being recognized, and will surely be cemented by history, as one of the most corrupt, unstable and rudderless periods in our nations history. But we will get through it. But not be being meaningless peons.
  6. Happy Fourth of July everyone! Just think, 244 years ago our fore-fathers were toppling statues of King George III. F*cking anarchists.
  7. You mean this look? Or this? Or this? You've proved you can find funny pics on the net. So informative.
  8. What a pathetic a-hole. You hurt my feelings.
  9. Sorry, I'm not even sure what this astute comment is suppose to mean. But then I went to Trump University so I'm not nearly as smart as you, 'cuz you obviously have all the answers. And usually I have more than just one Cheeto.
  10. No. Those things you listed are deplorable. I'm just pointing out that Trump is a con man and a charlatan, always has been, and there was nothing sincere in that visit.
  11. Really? You think there was any sincerity in Trumps visit? I wonder if Trump has ever even opened a bible in his life. That was a poorly planned and executed photo-op, and nothing else. You seriously think Trump is a spiritual human being? So what Christian values does Trump espouse? Narcissism, greed, pathological lying, anger, fraud, pettiness (should I go on)? Are these the teachings of Jesus? Banging porn stars behind your wifes back, then trying to pay them off to be quiet, is that what the church is promoting these days? And if Trump was a Dem I would be just as disgusted, so don't call me a liberal fag. But go ahead all you people who think poor Donny is treated soooo unfairly, drink that kool-aid. I'm sure you find it delicious.
  12. But I guess you have everything to do with NY? And I just picked KY because I enjoy irony. Any my apologies for responding to a days old post. I only come here every 5 days or so and read the last page, just to get some levity at the same old tired posters writing the same old tired comments. I guess if you post thousands of times that somehow makes you important, or interesting, or omniscient. Peace out my Sioux Brethren! Remember when this used to be a sports site!!! Ah, the good ol' days...
  13. So what? Ya so NY has more people and corporations and a higher tax rate. The bottom line is NY pays in more federal taxes than it takes out, meanwhile KY and your boy Mitch McConnell takes out way more than it contributes. So you're going to bang on NY for that?
  14. Could you please make your font bigger, and maybe add some vivid color, like cyan or magenta maybe. I mean, I can barley read this.
  15. And how did you make that graph? That's interesting...
  16. This is a fun read regarding best isolation songs..... https://www.vindy.com/life/ticket/2020/03/kick-it-up-a-notch/
  17. "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population"
  18. Jesus H Christ can we please close this thread? I try not to come back here but it's like driving by a massive car wreck - can't help but peek. Many people think this is baloney, many people think it's an existential threat. You think anything a bunch of puck heads says on this site will have any substantial impact on events, or bring back the Frozen Four? Can we all just agree this is an incredible sad event for Sioux Hockey and especially the players, and most notable the seniors. This is a HOCKEY site may I remind you. But have at it...
  19. And I hope the team gets invited back for a 20 year reunion. Maybe by then it won't hurt as much.
  20. No banner. But make a display case type-thing in the hallway somewhere to acknowledge the great team, the 'what if', and to document the historic nature of these crazy times we live in. Would be interesting reading 50 years from now.
  21. Yes a line of Jones/JJ/Mismash would be better, but....
  22. WTF is this? Please keep this kind of sh1t off this site. I would prefer to hear discussion about hockey. Thank you.
  23. I had a totally different experience. Everyone around me were very knowledgeable fans. I'm sure many locals at the game have never seen ice before, except in their cocktails, but there there and they are learning and are new hockey fans and that's great for the sport. And there's no doubt - Vegas loves the Knights, and they know how to have FUN, a real party atmosphere. Looked like a sold out crowd on a Sunday night. I loved all the costumes, Elvis impersonators, full Knight regalia (lots of kids dressed as Knights) and looked like everyone else had Knights apparel on. The band and cheerleaders marching around the stadium, that annoying siren, the 'Drumbots' drum line group, and although I can't stand that cheesy skit at the beginning it seems apropos for Vegas. Getting at least 6 different high fives from strangers after a Knights goal. That might have been the most fun pro game (non playoff anyway) that I have been to. I tip my hat to the Knights fans.
