I find it highly unlikely they would have any issue at all with fans wearing Fighting Sioux gear. One, because of the first amendment and two, because Utah has a Native American moniker. It would be very hypocritical if they were to ban Fighting Sioux Native America gear while allowing Ute Native American gear.

Specifically yes, you can bring cameras (although most people I see just use their phones). There are no rules about attire. Also, there is a new non-mandatory rules being implemented this year regarding bags. A clear bag approach will be implemented fully next year, this year you can go through shorter lines if you use a clear bag. It can be the size of a gallon zip-loc bag.
Thank you

Question for the Ute faithful. Can we bring cameras into your stadium (some stadiums say no but let us anyway) and any rules about wearing our Fighting Sioux gear?

Driving from Colorado so the cooler will be stocked. After the game we are planning on hopping around to a couple of places to sample the local fare.
Coors or micro brew?

You can't get 5% in grocery stores, but you can at the state run liquor stores. Check https://abc.utah.gov/stores/ for the closest to your hotel
Thanks

Just got my plane tickets to Salt Lake. Do they 5 percent or stronger beer their or will a guy have to resort to malt liquor?

You guys are lucky... most of our scrimmages/practices are closed except for the last 20 mins open to media.
Yes, we are fortunate for that.

Any way about seven of us spent all day yesterday going over the comments and takes about the scrimmage. We enjoyed and appreciated all of them so please keep up the good work.

I'll have to find the schedule we looked at Friday night. Could be we didn't know what we were looking at.
-
Hope next time there's a scrimmage we hear about it earlier then 6 pm the night before. We would of made the drive to see it

Any pro scouts at the scrimmage?
-
Any talk of moving Cieslak to offense?
-
James is a very distant relative of Austin Cieslak, maybe thats why he chose UND

These guys gave us a great football season. No one player or coach won or lost a game this year for the Sioux. All wins and losses were a combined effort. Last year they gave us the thrill of the first ever Sioux victory over a FBS team, and the heart ache of not being selected for the schools first ever FCS playoff game. This year Big Sky co- champions and a first ever D1 play off game that did not end how it looked like it would. I like the chances of this group of people giving us even bigger thrills, and maybe heart ache, in 2017. Congratulations to the team for making 2016 the best year yet for Sioux football in the D1 era.

I thought your OC called a pretty good game, especially the flea-flicker. As to the reverse or end-around, no one knows what he or others in the press box saw on the field that led him to make that call (If indeed it was his call. Does your QB have authority to audible? Does the HC ever override the OC or make the call? IMO, without that knowledge, he shouldn't be second-guessed. If you recall, UR lost 6 yards on the first play of the game on the same type of play. Most all year we had thrown a long pass on 1st down to try to stretch the field. It was the wrong call that we made, but I understand the logic. Things don't always go as planned, even when called by experts who are making such decisions.
As to the blocked punt, I am certain that the UR coaches saw an opening in your punt protection that made them go for the block, either in prior punt protection in this game or in the film they reviewed. We have not attempted to block a punt all season regardless of where the score and time stood. If there is an opening in punt protection, though it is probably discernible by the typical fan, it is probably something simple that can be easily fixed.
Incidentally, while I am obviously glad that we won, I feel for your loss. I know it must be disappointing to you, especially in view of your lead in the third quarter. That said, as I posted in another thread on this board, I was very impressed with the class, talent and energy of your team and your program. The game could have gone either way. After your first drive for a TD in the third quarterI was ready to throw the TV out the window.
You have a very bright future and you have many playoff victories ahead of you far more significant this one loss. I doubt that it will be long before you are competitive with NDSU who, like it or not, has been the class of FCS for the last five years. Good luck to you guys. You have the talent, coaching, and class to go far.
A Tough loss for us Sioux fans but we lost fair and square. Congratulations to your team and fans and good luck next week

Heard ESPN 3 will cover the game, don't get it. Will anyone be streaming it over the internet?
-
Not the result we wanted but the coaches and young men gave their best and will get this figured out. By the end of the year we will all be happy and excited for 2017

I have the Stony Brook site to view tomorrow on the computer but is there another site available in case we need backup?
Does the game start 6PM CDT?

Has anyone ever set up a tailgating spot for family? Every one would be welcome of course but it seems like most players parents don't have a clue who is who.
