Though Lance is on pace to be an all time bust. Wentz ain’t far behind save for his one good year.

Whats that got to do with anything?  Did you completely miss the point or are you just being stupid?

NDSU will be gutted with graduation this year.  Losing Miller will be huge for them.  Cole Peyton can't throw the ball so their passing game will be limited.

Heard the same when Stick graduated, Wentz graduated, Lance went to the NFL, Jensse graduated, etc.....

10,000 attendance for a home playoff game for NDSU surprised me. I knew interest had waned but not that much. Most their games are boring because of winning by lots.

Its not that the games are boring.   Its that we do it every year, nothing new or exciting about second round games for NDSU fans.

At the risk of repeating myself, define whoop. I see sdsu winning, but I see a 10–14 point win. I don’t see that as a whooping or being “exposed”.

NDSU losing by 14 is getting whooped in my book.  Its going to take a few years to recover from Entz and lets face it, Cole in not the guy.

Were in for a rough patch.

Your predictions have gone well so far, I’m sure you’re correct on this one too.

Well fellow Bison fan.... SDSU is going to whoop us next week.  I see no other outcome.

Its going to be SDSU #1 in Frisco,  and USD vs NDSU for the other spot.

Come on JD you know what created the great SDSU turn around.  It was high interest low credit scores customers.

South Dakota became a major hub for credit card operations in the early 1980s. This shift began when Citibank moved its credit card operations from New York to South Dakota in 1981. The move was largely influenced by the state’s decision to lift its cap on interest rates, following the Marquette decision by the Supreme Court, which allowed banks to export interest rates to other states.

This legislative change made South Dakota an attractive location for banks, leading to its reputation as the “capital of credit cards.”  Over the decades, the credit card industry has contributed significantly to South Dakota’s economy.   In 2019, the financial services sector, which includes credit card operations, accounted for about 16% of South Dakota’s GDP.  Today, the financial services sector represents about 35.9% of the state’s GDP.

This lead to the direct creation of wealth for T. Denny Sanford who made his fortune primarily through the banking and credit card industry. He is the owner of First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard, which specialize in subprime credit cards.  Sanford’s success in this niche market has made him one of the wealthiest individuals in South Dakota, with an estimated net worth of around $2 billion.  Only reason SDSU could make to the jump to DI was they had his support.  Without it, it would have been a disaster plain and simple.  Wash it all you want JD, it's about the money and prior to Credit Cards the State had no money.  No money, no DI.

This is a very true post.  Sanford got SDSU to where they are today.

BTW:  I said years ago that the only way UND progresses is a coaching change.  Bubba will get you close, but never over the top.
