GeauxSioux Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 UND becomes iTunes UUND announced Thursday that Apple Inc. has named it an iTunes University, meaning some course materials, lectures, seminars and general information will be available soon on the company's educational file-sharing Web site. Already more than 60 podcasts - audio and video files for playback on digital players such as Apple's iPod - are available on UND's Web site, the school said in a presentation on the main level of the Memorial Union. The system provides a way for colleges and universities to make both audio and video content from lectures, interviews, audio books and more available to students online. Students can download from either Apple's iTunes U site or their own school's Web site onto their computers. So, even without an iPod, students can still get access to the service. Quote
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Yeah, I was at the little presentation they had at the Union... Pretty boring, except for the 30 second demo which was kinda neat. They also had free cake and coffee while it lasted, which the cake wasn't very good. Oh well, it gave me something to do before work... Quote
SiouxMD Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Back in my day we had to take notes...on paper...with a pencil. Quote
