PCM Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 Jonathan Toews joins order of the Buffalo Hunt Premier Gary Doer today inducted Jonathan Toews into Manitoba's Order of the Buffalo Hunt in recognition of his outstanding achievements in winning two gold medals with Team Canada in the 2007 world junior and world men's hockey championships. This year is the 50th anniversary of the Order of the Buffalo Huntwhich recognizes the outstanding and distinctive contributions of leaders in areas such as politics, business, sports and entertainment. Past inductees include Mother Theresa, Pope John Paul II, Aboriginal leaders Mary Richard and Grand Chief Ron Evans, speed skater Susan Auch, world champion cyclist Tanya Dubnicoff and entertainers Neil Young, Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman. BTW, David, UND is your ticket to the Order of the Buffalo hunt. Also, the Buffalo Hunt sounds like something that should be done in Fargo, yearly...
