It's funny how quickly people point out $100 million REA and all of its bells and whistles, yet a brand-new D-1 hockey program and a small-time basketball school spends $52 million and nobody bats an eyelash...

I heard that Bemidji is going to spend about $30 Million on it's new sports complex that includes a new arena for BSU funded by a $.01 sales tax increase.

I've only seen pictures of the new BU arena, it could be nice, but from the pictures I'm underwelmed for $90 Mil.

On my way up to the Dartmouth tournament, I drove by the exit on I-95 for the "Q." I was surprised it was only about two hours north of me here at the New Jersey Shore. Hopefully, the Fighting Sioux will play them there in the new future.

I watched Q play Holy Cross this weekend on TV, in their new arena. I thought it looked pretty nice. The first part that I saw was some close up action on the ice, it was so bright that I had to ask Mr. Siouxmama if they were playing outside. Once they had a full shot of the ice, I could see the arena. It's very white. Looks good though. BTW, Q beat HC 7-0.
