It's more fun Drunk
I have heard Steve Johnson is interested... He would be a great asset to UND, I really believe he could recruit, condition, manage, and coach the players into the national tournament picture.. Plus he has all the UND ties needed... Hmmmmmm He'd have to willing to accept a nice little pay cut
Greenbayguy
Too bad it had to turn into an ugly situation. As far as Shantel getting paid for "administrative" duties, it is what she is owed by the University. Why should there be a problem living up to the agreement. She had a contract through next June, so pay her through next June, even if you don't use her services. As to Coach Johnson returning for this position . . . don't hold your breath! This isn't what he's after, nor would it be a good stepping stone once Hak and Eades leave. If you're looking for an alum to take over the program may be worth mentioning Charlie (Mike) Burggraf. He was a men's assistant at Bethel, an assistant to Halldorson at Minnesota, and now heads the women's program at Bethel. The ladies certainly would learn to skate under his direction.
