I seriously don't think it behooves the Fargo Forum to put any negative press on its "hometown" collegiate football team when there is nothing NDSU could do to refute it. If NDSU were to pull a Golden Gopher football season in conference, sure, I suppose pointing the finger and rubbing it in may be in order, but NDSU isn't playing in November because of the NCAA rulebook that dictates playoff eligibility for schools that move up in divisions.
