administrator Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 (edited) Obviously the "skin" (look & feel) of the forums have changed. In all honesty, I don't actually prefer this look to the old one for the board itself, but it allows me to keep a consistency (such as the navigation bar and the color scheme) throughout the entire site. It's also a lot less graphically intensive than the old skin, so should reduce page load times. As with any such transition, point out anything that seems broken or send me any comments. dagies Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 Actually, I kind of like it. More like Sioux colors. Thanks again for all of your work for OUR enjoyment. Really helps add to the fan experience. Quote
denbo1 Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 I added a reply and even after a couple of hours I'm still able to delete the post. Should I be able to do this? I like the new look, seems cleaner, not as bunched up. good job Quote
administrator Posted February 6, 2003 Author Posted February 6, 2003 There currently isn't a restriction on the amount of time you can edit/delete a post. I've considered setting a limit, but there hasn't really been a problem (as far as I know). As long as it doesn't cause problems, I'd prefer to leave people the maximum flexibility to make changes. denbo1 Posted February 7, 2003 Posted February 7, 2003 I had to go in and just click on my avatar to reinstate it. One other question, what does it mean in the forum topics when the letter has dot in the center on the letter? Does that mean that I have posted to this topic? Does anyone else see this? Thanks, great site. Quote
administrator Posted February 7, 2003 Author Posted February 7, 2003 You're right, the dot indicates that you've posted in that topic. Kind of handy for checking for replies to your posts, and not particularly intrusive if you don't find it useful. Quote
