UNDgosioux Posted March 23, 2006 Share Posted March 23, 2006 I have been a regular at the MN boys and girls state tournaments over the years, and I think the talent level keeps getting better in the state, I saw alof of talented young ladies that hopefully are interested in the sioux. The one Wahlin girl from Crookston was really the talk of the tourney, she led the young team to the title game as she had an amazing first two days, where they looked to run out of gas a bit in the final. A lot of people said she was the best player in the whole tourney regardless of class, one coach said she was the most complete player he had seen in 20 years, and that many D-1 programs are aware of her and the Gophers have watched her play before and she went to their Summer camp last year, hopefully the sioux can land here and keep here close to home. Im sure the Sioux were scouting lots of ladies down there, it is great to see NW MN athletes excel as well Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
