SiouxFootballField Posted September 1, 2005 Share Posted September 1, 2005 UND has been studying the Bisons for the last 2 years and feel that they would be well off in D1, and may be ready to move as soon as next season. I've heard locally that sioux officials have projected that if they moved to D1 5 years ago, the entire department would see 15% move of increase in revenue, and overall 25% from 2 years ago for complete dividen staff, and campus control. I'm sure UND wanted NDSU to move to d1 first, and learn from there mistakes. If the Sioux haven't been enjoying d2 recently they may have been the first to go! I feel that the Sioux are being hold up by guys like Roger Thomas that feel a loyalty to D2, and NCC. UND would only better if they moved to D1 sooner than later!
