After the Sioux's series against Mankato I had to write this. First off, they try to even up the game when one team is ahead by a goal or two which isn't a ref's job. A ref's job is to call the infractions of the game, not to make it exciting a close nail-biter. Secondly, I have never seen such morons skating around. The first game of the Sioux vs. Mavericks, Mason (the head ref) called a goal on a puck that without a doubt hit the top pipe. It didn't enter into anyone's mind at the game that it would be a goal, but Mason in all of his stupidity called it a goal. This was only one of hundreds of bonehead calls by Mason last weekend. Maybe it's just because we are the Fighting Sioux and nobody likes us. Maybe it's because these the refs are just that stupid. Maybe it's just me.
