I heard Belfour was there, never saw him myself though...as we were painting up in the parking lot before the NC game Brett Stirling's dad walked by and chatted with us. siouxguyinstpaul Posted April 13, 2005 Share Posted April 13, 2005 While between periods during the Championship game - I was in a bathroom stall when I over heard what I knew must be some Gopher fans say "They don't even have a rouser - all they have is In Heaven there is No Beer" I got my game face on, left the stall (where they were unaware I was) and said "Whats wrong with that?" and grinned. I fully expected to get in a rousing verbal altercation with what turned out to be three Gopher fans - as I had been in my share already that weekend with the maroon and gold folks - but all I got was a smile back and "Yeh, your right - whats wrong with that". Perhaps my size - 6'4" 240 lbs may have had something to do with it - but it made me smile again back at them and leave with what I considered a another victory - albeit a minor one.
