HockeyMom Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 #1 Minnesota is in, they beat Providence last night 6-1. St. Lawrence beat #2 UMD in OT 3-2. The other two teams will be decided today: Dartmouth and Wisconsin face off tonight, and Harvard and Mercyhurst play this afternoon. Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 Harvard just beat Mercyhurst 5-4 in triple OT earning a spot at the big dance. 113 minutes of hockey, 143 shots on goal. And they say women's hockey is boring. I would have loved to have been at that game. Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 Dartmouth gets the final spot beating Wisconsin 4-3. I would have liked to see the three WCHA teams make the Frozen Four, but what can you do? It's Minnesota's tournament to lose. Dartmouth vs. Minnesota and St. Lawrence vs. Harvard it is. Quote
Canuck Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 I would have liked to see the three WCHA teams make the Frozen Four, but what can you do? As long as Minnesota Duluth's season ends with a loss, I'm a happy fan. Quote
dakotadan Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 As long as Minnesota Duluth's season ends with a loss, I'm a happy fan. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And also hopefully Minnesota's. Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 26, 2005 Author Posted March 26, 2005 *writes Harvard in the championship game on the dry erase board with a Sharpie* They just beat St. Lawrence 4-1 in semifinal #1. Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 26, 2005 Author Posted March 26, 2005 *crosses fingers and prays Dartmouth beats Minnesota* Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 26, 2005 Author Posted March 26, 2005 *crosses fingers and prays Dartmouth beats Minnesota* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Forget that, Minnesota is up 4-1 not even halfway through the first period. EDIT UM wins 7-2. Quote
dakotadan Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I really hope Harvard shows up to play. I would love to see Minney lose. Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 26, 2005 Author Posted March 26, 2005 I would too, but I don't think Harvard can beat them. *would love to be wrong* Quote
