Finally got my season tickets for women's hockey. They appear to be general admission, no specified seat. Hmm. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing...

A while back, after it was announced that the women's club team was moving to DI, I wondered aloud why UND didn't decide to build its women's team around the Ralph's Olympic sized ice. It seemed to me that the larger ice-smaller venue woulld be a nice combination since I doubt the women will ever be able to fill even the lower bowl in the main arena. Any thoughts?

Has anyone heard how many season tickets have been sold for the women's games?

I wish the girls lots of luck and I admire them for being pioneers in this sport. Are most of you who are such staunch devotees of the men's game at all interested in the watching the women's team play?

We have four season tickets for the women, I'm ready to watch them play. We went to one of the games 2 years ago when they played Manitoba - it was pretty brutal 11-1 or something like that, so to see the box score in which they split with the Bison last weekend was exciting. I'm speaking for myself however, as I believe that it'll be girls' night with the tickets for the majority of the season as the significant other is luke warm about it - but, if they play good he'll probably end up being a "band wagon fan" - he's a minnesota native so that's sort of expected! :p:D I'm JUST KIDDING......

I can say there will be 4 people to watch the Lady Sioux most of the season.Almost as many as that were at the Punch-I-Max-Compaq classic. :D

Yanne, Some of them girls were gassed at the end of the 20minute meet the Sioux night on the small rink. Let's not push the olympic on them just yet. :p
