Don't know if anyone caught this or not, but Brooks made a sarcastic comment about how he even made some Canadian friends at the University of Denver. Don't remember his exact words, but it was kind of a "God forbid" type statement. Of course there aren't any gopher fans anymore that have a problem with Canadians, except a few. According to most of them, there never was any.

Just by Dan Brooks' statement, you could tell how he felt about that type of attitude. Only problem is he was preaching to Mazzocco, who is one who seems to have come full circle.

Yeah, I saw that same remark... Although I like to see Minnesota kids play for the U of M, I think everybody has seen that our NoDak connection has made a big impact on the program.. Let's face it.. Some homers on the team put people in seats, but there is no reason to limit recruiting to inside the border lines.. That's ridiculous...

A few of my friends that I have out here in (Currently Residing) Denver CO. are from Grand Forks.. It's always fun when Minny faces NoDak... Great rivalry.. Tough games.. Now I have to get ready for for my Front Row Tickets (that wasn't cheap on ebay) to the Goph's and DU!.. Go Goph's.. I'd like to see the Sioux get it turned around this weekend too!
