JESUS,family, rutgers Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 A question for some of the older fans on the site. Did the Minnesota Fighting Saints of the WHA have any North Dakota Fighting Sioux players on the team? Thanks for any info. Quote
Big A HG Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Some of these aren't the Minnesota Fighting Saints (WHA), but here is a list that may interest you: Mike "Lefty" Curran: Played at UND 65-68, played for the Minnesota Fighting Saints (WHA) 72-77. Bill Colpitts: Played at UND 59-61, played for the St. Paul Saints (IHL) 62-63. Guy LaFrance: Played at UND 57-60, played for the St. Paul Saints (IHL) 62-63. Art Miller: Played at UND 57-60, played for the St. Paul Saints (IHL) 62-63. Reg Morelli: Played at UND 57-60, played for the St. Paul Saints (IHL) 60-61. Billy Reichert: Played at UND 54-57, played for the St. Paul Saints (IHL) 61-62. I couldn't find more than that after a quick search. Lefty Curran is the only one who played for the Minnesota Fighting Saints. Quote
JESUS,family, rutgers Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks. It looks like he wore number 1 on the Saints. Quote
