Long ago, before I could drink legally in ND, we would go to Cartwright to the bar. Lots of fun. There was someone there that would have a volleyball tourney over the Memorial Day weekend each year that we would go to, not necessarily to play volleyball though. I barely made it back in time for graduation. :D

Cartwright - pop about 300 (on a good day)

Cartwright has produced over 50 Junior A players

over the last 30 years (a couple of Junior Natioanl Champs)

, a (Major Junior) Memorial Cup Champion and 3 NCAA level

players (Sioux, Michigan State and Maine) - one NCAA champion.

Town lives for hockey (I know I grew up there and played for the Sioux)
