This team makes me nostalgic. Reminds me of my freshman year when we won....idk maybe 3 games? Fun times for sure, and none of those fun times involved UND football. THAT I can tell you.

My prediction: Sioux by a billion!!! Remain undefeated! (Aka: They'll take it tied to the third period and win on a last minute goal...again. 3-0-1!!)

I feel so bad for this team. Such high expectations and just decimated by injuries. Gotta keep chins up though, still football to play. At one point early this season I was so confident that UND could be my second team Syracuse.....then Syracuse beat Clemson and UND is on crutches. What a roller coaster.

I swear I've said this most games for the past year. Their passing is soooooooo mediocre. Crisp it up for me, one time! I need to hear that sweet sweet crack of the puck hitting the stick every pass like I need air to breathe.

Great game so far in Vegas. Loved the pregame ceremony, great speech by Engelland too. Saw the highlight about the Flyers against Nash...so of course I went to the Flyers twitter and read the replies to the tweets. Boy are Philly fans ruthless. They seem to want Hak's head on a platter.

Exactly. Hearing this was Manitoba's 9th game already, helped put this game into perspective. Obviously some things to work on, but a good showing by the new guys! Looking forward to the season!

The exact reason I brought up in my earlier post that I am a lifelong Syracuse fan. Syracuse fans use the same logic. They lost this year to LSU by 9 points! IN BATON ROUGE!!!! But guess what? Syracuse still sucks! They can come close to huge upsets, but at the end of the day, they're a football team that needs time to heal/improve. It's just the truth.... And like Syracuse....North Dakota's season is over, sorry to say. It'll be great to even get to the playoffs now. Let alone get to the second round. I'll (hopefully) eat my shoe if they get past the second round. #Realism

Bad football is bad football.........? Just saying to be picked first in the conference preseason and go 1-4 (assuming an L tonight) through 5 games....it's not good. These games aren't close games either.

Perhaps it's more than just one issue with UND? Key injuries, sometimes questionable play calling, and perhaps just a team that was over-hyped in the preseason. It's a shame. But being a fan of Syracuse for my entire life I've learned to just expect the worst when it comes to football. So oh well. Time to move on to Hockey, and basketball seasons!
