I home SME will produce a logo that uses all of the same colors that were in the Brien logo.  Doesn't necessarily have to have the same feathers (although I don't see why not).  By using all the same colors (brown, green, yellow, red, white, black) from the old logo. it will help people adapt more easily to the new logo.

I agree, and not just as a way to connect to the old logo.  I just think part of what makes the Sioux logo stand out is that it's not just a green logo on a white jersey or vice-versa.  I like the idea of more colors in the logo vs less.

I just realized the lighting in my picture makes the lettering look pink.

I'm not cool enough to rock the pink, it's definitely white.

Uh oh, let's not have another "is the dress blue and black or gold and white" situations on our hands lol.  Here's a quick picture I sent to my wife with better colors but worse framing.

  3. I ran to Scheels over lunch (was there at about noon) and they just had gray ones left.  I went to the bookstore at about 1:30 and they still had green ones left in both the Brien logo and the geometric Under Armour one (like the pink one above, but green with white text).  They won't last much longer.

  4. I was in Orlando for a work conference this week and wore a polo with the interlocking ND logo on it and on several occasions it was mistaken for a Notre Dame shirt.  I think the logo will end up being a very important part of this process regardless of what the name is.  The logo needs to be unique and distinctive and we need to put money and effort into branding and marketing it on a wide scale.

On the other end of the spectrum, the pilot gave me a "Let's go Sioux!" while we were getting off after he saw my hat (interlocking ND logo).

  5. South club is different than club seats on the rail. South Club is at the south end of the arena (home team shoots there twice) and has its own seats and rail.  It's a purple section on the link you posted.

Thanks!  I'll be glad to have a reserved spot.  Should make trips back and forth to the bar less stressful.

  6. Those of you with SRO tickets....I emailed the Scheels Arena staff and asked about the location and sight lines. Here is their replay:

SRO tickets are located in the Ice Bar area and is a general admission, first come, first serve for space. There will not be seating anywhere in that section, but there will be staging there for different heights.

Does anyone know what the story is with Club tickets?  Mine have a row and seat number on them in the South Club.  Will there be reserved spots of some sort there?
