  1. So you disagree with the whole 2011 class that any team outside of UNI would be scared sh$tless if NDSU played in their building in the playoffs. And I agree with you there are teams one would like to avoid, but that wouldn't mean they are scared sh$tless.

Guess we will just have to wait for UND's hypothetical playoff run coupled by their hypothetical hosting of NDSU.

  2. 0-0.  So please name teams that would scared sh&tless to see NDSU enter their field in a playoff game. I hope you tell those fans this on their message board, and not be a troll in this one.

I would want no part of NDSU. If they make the playoffs and Wentz  is healed, they have the talent to beat any team in the FCS. They are also still the defending national champions the last time I checked.

Just for the record , your 2010 playoff analogy is literally the dumbest thing I have seen in my life.

  3. It's pathetic and nonexistent... but I don't think that's what folks have been talking about.

Ya they are talking about how the 2010 Bison performed in the playoffs on the road, which literally had no bearing on whether or not this Bison team will perform well on the road if they make the playoffs and have road games. Seems to make a lot more sense.

  4. Too excited no, scared sh$tless very doubtful. The point was in 2011-14 NDSU was so good they didn't have road playoff games but when you do have a road game you aren't as good and as I pointed out as an example your record in D1 road playoff games are 1-1. And comparing a road playoff game against top competition in the FCS to a road game in the MVFC which includes teams at the bottom is rediculous.

What is UND's record in FCS playoff games?

  5. So now you are going back through posts from two days ago and responding to them?

Ya it took a whopping two minutes to read through this thread for the last couple days. Huge commitment on my part.

Kinda like the numerous UND threads made up by people on Bisonville. Bison fans get their horns up when something bad happens to UND.

Not a single person that I went to NDSU with made a Facebook post about UND getting beat on Saturday or the Saturday before that.  I had 8 facebook friends who went to UND react like UND won the championship when NDSU got beat. If you don't think you guys react more to NDSU getting beat compared to NDSU fans reacting to UND getting beat, you are not being honest with yourself. Christ you can't even looked at your game day threads and not see a comment on each page about NDSU.

  6. You know exactly what UND does every Saturday.  I am friends with too many Bison fans who sit at the NDSU game and have the UND box score up on their phones.  They damn near follow the UND games play by play from the Fargodome.  I know because they tell me updates through obnoxious texts

I honestly did not . Watched the NDSU game Saturday, went out afterwards and flew home Sunday. Not the slightest clue until this morning when the UND rubes started to rub in the Bison game.

  7. They just might have to play a playoff game on the road. And we all know how well that usually works out for them.

Lol. I honestly say bring it on. There is not a single team in the FCS, with maybe the exception of UNI, would wouldn't be shitting themselves seeing NDSU walking into their stadium come November or December. From 2011 through 2015, NDSU had lost 5 freaking games and more of those losses have been in the Fargodome than on the road. If you don't thin NDSU has the ability to win on the road you are delusional. They pounded SDSU this year in front of a record crowd.

  8. get out troll

I honestly did not know if UND won or lost until this morning. I could care less as they are not in NDSU's conference and will not be a playoff team this year.

I work primarily with USD grads. The only ones who said anything to me laughed about how big of a fluke it was. I work with a few UND grads. Every single one of them came up to me to rub in the loss. I have not spoken to them about a single game this year, not even the complete and utter ass kicking NDSU handed them in September.  One of the UND guys, who came up to me to rub in the loss , didn't even know if UND won Saturday.

Why did I come onto this site? To see how giddy you guys were. I think it is hilarious how much you care about NDSU getting beat and how excited you get.

  9. Stick that up your ass NDSU

Not sure why this hasn't been named the NDSU thread. I would venture to say 75% of the posts on this thread have been about NDSU. Anytime NDSU is in a close game, Darell1976 start the posting and usually guys like you get all jolly when they get beat. I honestly think you guys care as much if not more about NDSU getting beat as you do about UND winning.

Is this a bad loss? Ya maybe, but it is a Valley team. USD was horrible last year, but they showed the ability to compete as evidenced by the Montana game. I would honestly put them at the same level of ISU-B in 2012. NDSU went on to win the championship after that embarrassing loss.

At the end of the day, NDSU is still one of the handful of teams that could compete for a national championship. The team that showed up and absolutely crushed Weber, Sundog Nation, and SDSU would beat any FCS team in the country. After those games and the UNI game, I think the entire team, including the coaching staff and fans, thought this game would be a gimme. I don't think they will be making the same mistake again.

  10. Hey if you don't care or want to see NDSU on UND's schedule it will be a lot easier on you if you just GTFO the board.  Until then the rest of us are sick of your garbarge.

I don't want to see UND on NDSU's schedule given the conference affiliation and the fact that handcuffing NDSU's scheduling oopportunities hurts NDSU's football program. I would fully embrace UND making a MVFC push and playing NDSU annually in conference play.

Do you guys seriously want to be in Big Sky?

  11.

Then the trolls need to get lost and go back to Bisonville. I don't waste my time over there; why do they waste their time here?

Anyway, here is the quote that irritated me. It was in a different article than the one I was talking about:

    http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-football/3843120-und-football-notebook-lot-has-changed-und-ndsu

This sounds like some unnecessary bitterness on Klieman's part. What in the world did the Bison D prove on Saturday against a very weak UND offense that still hasn't recovered from the coaching change? And why would Klieman and his players give a rat's behind what narrative the media chose to focus on? Klieman should be more worried about what happened vs. Montana; that could be a problem against the rest of MVFC.

The entire media tried saying that this was a match up of the vaunted UND deffense versus a potent NDSU offense. Sorry, but Klieman and the players had the right to have a chip on their shoulders . They completely embarrassed UND on Saturday and showed who the best defense really was. Statistically, that was the best NDSU defensive performance of all time. I would have to guess 61 total yards of offense and only 3 first downs ranks amounf the lowest all time for UND.

  12. The player who did this is Connor Wentz, Carson Wentz's cousin. Not sure what he was thinking but that kid is not a dirty player and I am positive his intention was not to hurt that kid. I heard from a good source he was pretty upset about what happened .

  13. right along side crockett?

When was I ever quoted saying that about Crockett?

Oh and by the way, Eddie Lacy got hurt tonight. Crockett will be playing next Sunday if Lacy can't go.

  14. shhh get back to bed.

Good thing we don't have to speculate about how bad of a blowout this game would be on paper.  I thought it would be a blowout , but not this bad. I was glad it was played to satisfy you guys. See you in 2019.

  15. it's past his bedtime, it's a school night. Fargo South starts early.

You popping in the 2001 D2 championship game into the VHS player tonight , or were you just planning to start the 2015 hypothetical playoff topic on SS instead?

  16. Any of our LBs would start. Reyes probably would as well. Adler could possibly at TE. Other than that you're right.

You might be right about the outside linebackers. Ironically though , I think your best defensive player, Will, would be riding the pine. As good as he is, he is no Nick DeLuca. That dude will be playing on Sundays.

  17. Those rubes on Bisonville? Every team has a chance against any team, thats why the game is played. Why haven't the mods banned you yet.

That and essentially every single person on AGS. No Darell, UND did not have a chance in this game. It was men among boys. With the exception of Ratelle, and this is a huge MAYBE consider in he plays the same position as Deluca who is a better player, there is not a single UND starter yesterday who would have started for NDSU. The talent gap is honestly shocking.

  18. You calling me a tool when you come on a rival's board and after looking at a pic of a diving Bison player towards a UND player's leg and say "injuries happen". You sir are the tool, now please leave our board, your welcome is no longer needed.

All we heard from you over the past few years and this year was that UND could win this game, it was going to be competitive if it ever was played, UND beating Wyoming was a sign of this to come for the NDSU game, the UND defense would keep this game interesting, UND owns NDSU etc etc.

People thought you were a tool due to your claims of UND having a chance. Every FCS fan tried telling you that you were delusional and NDSU was going to curb stomp UND in this game.

For the record I don't think you are a tool. I just don't think you know a great deal about football. If you did, you wouldn't have gone on and on and on about UND having a chance in this game.

  19. At first I thought the NDSU player fell and rolled up unintentionally on Arnell. After you posted I was curious so I watched the play a good 15 times, mostly in slow mo, I am now pissed. Arnell was barley moving so the whole bang bang play argument is out the window. This was a cheap chicken shlt play. He didn't even look back at the result of his "block" just trotted back like nothing happened. I hope we see them in the playoffs.

1.) Watched the replay a few times. Tough to tell what he was thinking, but that kid is one of the nicest young men on the team. Was told by a good source he felt horrible about what happened. I highly highly doubt it had intent.

2.) There is a 0% chance this UND team makes the playoffs. I can honestly say they were overall the worst FCS opponent I have seen come into the Fargodome.

  20. That mentality hasn't stopped UND from having success against NDSU in football.  62-46-3.

That mentality, to a very large degree, did not exist until NDSU moved up and had sucess.

Congrats on the head to head record.      12 national championships to 1. That mentality is also the reason for that gigantic disparity, which at the end of the day, is the only thing that matters.

  21. I know UND fans that wear hockey jerseys because its the only college program in North Dakota history to win a real Division 1 championship, and UND hockey has done it 7 times.  You might think your cow college football team has won a Division 1 title, but in reality, there's over 120 real division 1 programs contending for the real division 1 title.  NDSU's small time college football success should not even be mentioned in the same sentence as UND's real division 1 success in hockey.

That mentality right there is why UND will never have a consistent winning FCS football program.

  22. Do you think the talent gap was evident?  2nd year staff doesn't have the roster up to snuff... I am amazed.   How is Bohls roster looking in his 2nd year?

I could care less how Bohl's roster is looking.

I never said it was unexpected for there to be a talent gap.  All I was trying to say is that the Wyoming game meant nothing in determining how bad or good UND was going to be. Wyoming is historically bad. It honestly is shocking how incredibly bad they are. I am not saying that via trying to bash UND. Honestly I am not. All I was trying to say is that Darrell stills thinks that if UND played like they did against Wyoiming , they would beat NDSU. He doesn't understand that the reason UND LOOKED like they did against Wyoming, was due to the fact of Wyoming being incredibly horrible. I am telling you , there was zero chance that UND could have beat NDSU. It honestly looked like high school kids playing against college kids.

NDSU's defense  just held UND to 61 total yards of offense and 3 first downs. Statistically, that is the best performance by an NDSU defense in the D1 era. Do you really think NDSU's defense is that good? I think they are average, at best, and played against an incredibly horrible UND OFFENSE that made them look good.

  23. Anybody see the sign at the game that said: "we still have hockey!"...

    hmmmm

I read an article yesterday about a guy from Texas who made the trip to Fargo with his son. Mentioned that they were both wearing hockey gear.

Serious question. Do you think UND fans wear hockey jerseys to football games because that is the only apparel they own ? If that is the case, someone needs to start handing out UND Football shirts to incoming freshmen and those attending games at the Alerus Center.
