  1. The only reservations I'd have is that he won't be out recruiting. I'm guessing he has signed some paperwork.....he is gone. Breaks my heart...but he is not going to be at NDSU moving forward...no matter how bad we'd pound Wyoming at this point in time.

didn't a piss poor wyo team play then a few years ago? Does this change now hurt or help UND coaching search?

  2. So just to be clear:

You equate confidence with a personal habit

You think a person need to verbally say to the media that they take the blame after every loss to be a leader

Showing emotion on the sidelines is the only way you can tell if a coach is a good leader

A coach not talking to you mean he isn't personable and has an ego problem.

Sideline discipline issues by freshmen meanshe has no respect from the players

Wearing ear buds means a person can't relate to players, fans and alumni

Not recruiting North Dakota to other's expectations means they can't access player talent

Recruiting CA, AZ and TX is just plain wrong.

Sorry but what I posted is what has been shared on this site. no need to FYP - no bitterness here - talk about bitterness there is an entire thread fueled by it, I'm ready to move on and I didn't need to make fun of the players or coaches to get there. I was just revisiting what has been posted. I'll be there at every game just like I have been throughout the transition.

Mrs. Mussman (oh and please share how this being posted during the discussions wasn't based on bitterness and mean-spiritedness).

is this my wife?...I swear...I never knew you were a fan! Uncanny ability to turn things around and play the victim...... :whistling:

If he would have won nobody would have cared wtf he did!

  3. Is it possible both UND and the Ag school will have new head coaches for the 2014 season?

Is it possible both UND and the Ag school will have new head coaches for the 2014 season?

    very

  4. More of this arrogance again - great. Bellmore was a good player, but talent deprivation in North Dakota is not the current issue. The current coaching staff doesn't have a quality plan in place; therefore, very few North Dakota kids are allowed to make an impact. Instead, Mussman tries to take the easy way out and recruit talented kids from Illinois rather than develop local kids into high quality system players that can execute their job. There's no quality development, or discipline for that matter, in Mussman's current program. Recruiting some nonlocal kids that are talented is fine, but it won't work exclusively. The Dakotas and Minnesota produce enough talented, prideful athletes to consistently provide UND with winning rosters.

disagree...you need good hardworking ND kids but lets face it.......not a lot of wr-rb-db speed in ND.......not to compete at a high level in this conference

  5. It doesn't matter. Using some decorum will get better results in most cases than bitching, demanding or using bad language. And his example used a restaurant so I responded by using a restaurant example. Showing up on a coaches front lawn shouldn't even be considered.

I understand what you are saying but anyone who expects results from posting on a forum might want to rethink their options. As I don't see post on this forum being used to make athletic dept decisions.

  6. Question for everyone...IF Muss stays and UND upsets FBS San Jose St on August 30th...will all be forgotten at least up til that point or do we still want him replaced?

If they played today.....in GF....Fales would put up 100+ points.

*I was very excited about this season and upset I didn't purchase season tickets.......not upset today. I love watching any football...but after the MSU game, very happy I didn't get them. If that is someone being "too negative" on a fire the head ball coach thread...so be it.

  7. Bitching about things doesn't get you as far as being polite and giving honest feedback. If you walked into a nice restaurant and started bitching or demanding that the cook gets fired you aren't going to get nearly the same reaction from management as if you politely asked to talk with the manager and explained what was wrong. You are more likely to have someone spit in your drink or your food if you take that attitude. "Bitching" about "!@#!$" is not a good way to handle problems.

but this is a message board/forum.......not the head coaches front lawn

  8. my thought on this is you as fans take money out of youre pockets every other weekend to see a winning football team, it can be a lot of money to some people, two kids, tailgating, food at the game etc. etc. adds up to 200$ or more for me. So if you go to toasted frog or another swank restaurant and get !@#!$ service or food are you just sit back and take it or are you going to bitch about the cook or waitress to the manager. this is essentialy the exact same thing. these people are not performing their jobs to the expectations of their customers.

    this!

  9. Wait a minute - so you are saying you should only post in threads that you agree with - that's not what has been written here previously "Everyone is entitled their opinion" "this is the place to have discussions." Got it - guess that only goes if the posters agree with what you are posting.

not at all......not even close....just stating that a "real mature" post is in of its self.....inmature

  10. Lets not but you brought it up. Accusing a guy of doing what he's doing - name calling - a form of bullying, makes one a PC minion? It sure isn't an effective leadership skill.

it is football......being called a "diva" is very tame........ *reference former TT coach "fat little girlfriends".....just saying if you can't handle being called a diva....you are one....however after sitting through a few games.....can't defend the head ball coach
