I think you're underselling UND's recruiting. This will be the third outstanding class in a row, with this year in the top handful in the country.
How come we’ve been so active in the portal then?

Projection based on current info:
Forward (15):
GR - Jamernik
SR - Berg, Kunz, Schmaltz, Montgomery
JR - Blake, McLaughlin, James, Strinden
SO - Perron
FR - Swanson, Boisvert, Croal, Littler
X - PortalDefense (9):
JR - Zmolek
SO - Livanavage, Wiebe, Benoit, Komzak, MacDonald
FR - Jubenvill, Strathmann, Emery
Goalie (3):
SR - Semptimphelter
JR - Johnson
SO - Hedquist
Caleb MacDonald comes to UND out of the portal.
Looks to be a solid add for sure, although he is LHD, so we'll be short on RHD for next season unless some more moves are coming. And that SO class of Dmen is large.
Solid pipeline coming from UAF from the looks of it.Should just hire their head recruiter. Seems to be doing all the heavy lifting.

Are the # of commits supposed to be for the 2024 class alone? If so, Maine is replacing almost their entire team with their freshman class.
Ha who knows? It does say Class of 24. Feel for the people that pay for that stuff and think they’re “In the know”

Why is the NCAA commitment line blank? I really hope that is an error.
There not very up to date on the players pages.

That was a home cooking non offsides call for Denver on goal #2. Easily offsides, laughable they counted that a goal tbh. But hey, UND is playing in Denver and the refs know who’s signing their paychecks per comment above.
Lol, cry me a river.

What a gift, Kleven went down like he got sniped. 2 for boarding, absolutely.

Koster of the Gophers really sold a hit to get the misconduct. Dropped like he got sniped from the rafters.
Yep, sold it so well he didn’t play the rest of the game.

I get the feeling, UND is going to be loaded with skill based on some of the recruits they have coming in. Even with the mess in goal, the Freshmen forwards have been really good. Jackson Blake and O-Mac have been very good. Ben Strinden shows a lot of promise with his physicality and offensive skill. Also, Dylan James has shown glimpses of high-end skill. This pickup yesterday is also a positive.
That’s great and all, but skill doesn’t amount to wins as this year is showing.

Allow me a wildly optimistic take:
The staff knows they've been fading late in seasons recently so they are intentionally not hammering down early in the season to leave more in the tank come March.
It'd be a dangerous balance with little margin for error but large potential payoff.
Might not want to fall too far below .500.

Port doubling down his own shitballyness is nothing new.
Maybe what he should double down on is his child support issues.
Your displeasure with the guy is concerning.

Is it too early to start pissing and moaning about the refs for tonight’s game?

So you admit one was good enough to be top three of a USHL team and the other was a bottom six?
Probably a little tougher to crack the top 6 on the NTDP team than Sioux City, but whatever. Doesn’t bother me that Spicer moved on just thought it was odd to compare each others stat line.
