couple of quick side notes....for what it's worth.... I thought #6 (landry?) looked much better, much more confident back there than #7.

Good luck in the future UND...I for one will miss the rivalry. Hopefully the two teams will meet again down the road.

Most of the students tailgate in the lot (I think C) by the field house. Most of the alumni and gvfootball folks tailgate in the irwin lot, which is a "donation" lot you can pay for with season tickets. You can still go in there to visit, just can't park. Frankenstein and the rest of us are usually in the Irwin lot. It is past the tennis courts, before the entrance to the stadium, next to the practice field. Matt could probably post a map, he loves creating links. Stop by and say hello, same goes for the rest of you guys.

yeah, we'd love to see some of you folks in the Dale. Haven't been on here since last year's playoffs, nice to have an excuse. I'm really looking forward to part five. If any of you are coming, the long-term forecast is for cold and snow....not the midfifties and partly cloudy we had for the usd game.

It seemed that last year, at least in the NC game, that you really emphasized the passing game. Do you expect that to be different this year? Did you lose some WRs?

As far as scheduling a game with GVSU this year goes, we already have our schedule done. Regarding SSI, we got the same number of points for beating 1AA UCD on the road, a game we had scheduled before their move up a division, as Bentley had for beating D3 doormat Plymouth State at home. SSI needs a lot of tweaking. I realize they want to keep games in D2, but a team should not be punished for challenging itself.

While the Lakers were at Bentley we had Bentley students that went out of their way to sit in our section and pick fights. They called our girls the "C" word many times and made many physical threats, we eventually had to go get security it became so bad. In Saginaw we were showered with "F" chants and had full beer cans hurled at us while leaving (they held up the Sag students so the GVSU students could leave first and we had to pass in front and below them). Unfortunately, that seems to be the new trend. Personally, I thought the UND fans were really cool in 01 and I hope we can have the same fun attitude this year.

Me too! Congrats UND. Neither GVSU or UND was the hip pick in this round. All I heard was TAMUK and UNA. Screw those people. You guys were cool people in 01 and we look forward to having a good game!
