If the B1G was going to add school as affiliates, these 4 come to mind UND, Denver, BC, BU these 4 are in the top half on college hockey year in year out. Right now the B1G is relying on Minnesota to make the conference look good in hockey, because 2 of the big boys in the B1G are not carrying their weight (Michigan and Wisconsin).

I don't think he can be drafted.

The same thing can be said about suspending a player, Josh Gordon has yet to learn from being suspended more then once.

The St. Louis Blues just traded Leopold to Columbus so that would open up a spot for Schmaltz. Ladue would just end up buried behind other defensemen in the Kings organization. Forbert has yet to get called up to the Kings because of cap problems, Ladue might be better off staying a year or two and you'd have to think the Kings have to like how defensemen develop at UND and wouldn't mind him staying.

Arizona could be the next after Arizona State to move up to D1 they have a arena now that seats 5,000+. It will be interesting to see what the other schools in Arizona State's conference (ACHA D1) do now that Arizona State is moving up. Denver and CC are not going anywhere without UND. Colorado's hockey is sounding like they want to move up with Arizona State. I'm not sure university of Denver would like another school in the Denver area to go D1 in hockey. BYU has a D3 club team that plays at the Olympic arenas in Provo.

I saw the Lowell game, I believe that everyone makes Thatcher Demko seem better then he really is.

There is a comment on ESPN's story about the suspension that kind of goes with what you are saying, "The NFL bases it's suspensions on how much publicity a case gets and how upset the public is".

The Friday and Saturday games will be more telling of UConn. Vermont and BU at UConn.

From 2000 to 2013 SEC has won 8 national titles with 7 being in a row. in that same time frame BIG XII won 2 titles (2000 and 2005), Big East won one in 2001, ACC won one last year, B1G won one in 2003, and PAC-10 had their vacated (2004). All I'll say is Missouri is still better then Michigan.

It does seem like the NFL has a dart board with suspensions on it and just throws a dart blindly at it to come up with a suspension.

I wouldn't agree with that, Alabama was on a 17 year title drought until Nick Saban came along. If Gene Stallings didn't win one in 1992 that would be 30 years with no title, and the same can be said about Saban.

Nebraska was given $7 million from John Breslow to build a hockey arena for the University of Nebraska. John Breslow was a owner of the Phoenix Coyotes. The Breslow Ice Center is suppose to be built next to Haymarket Park. The City of Lincoln has yet to give it approval because of costs, it is planed to have two NHL size ice sheets seating for 750 and it was also going to be used by youth leagues in Lincoln. The Breslow Ice Center has nothing to do with Nebraska moving to the B1G hockey conference.

It sounds to me Bowling Green wants to be the one calling the shots in a hockey conference, or at least have more of a say then they are probably getting in the WCHA. If Bowling Green wants to get a invite to the NCHC they better put more of an effort into their hockey program, and not let it get on life-support again. Iowa State would be a program to add to the NCHC, if I remember right the Hilton Coliseum has ice making ability. Arizona State and Iowa State would be playing in facilities mainly used by basketball until they build a hockey arena that seats at least 5,000. Two other Ohio schools that could go D1 are Cincinnati and Ohio. Cincinnati has an 10,000 seat arena they share with Xavier University's hockey team, the Cincinnati Gardens. I'm sure the Cincinnati Gardens will need updates and Cincinnati has the U.S. Bank Arena on the waterfront that they might have to use if they went D1 and joined the NCHC. Ohio University would need a donor to get their program to a D1 level including an arena. Arizona surprisingly plays in an arena that seats at least 5,000 for hockey. There has been talk in Tucson about a new convention center and a plan to renovate the Tucson Convention Center where Arizona plays. I don't know why Lindenwood hasn't taken advantage of the 9,643 seat Family Arena in St. Charles. I don't see Lindenwood in the NCHC but they'd be a good fit in the WCHA men's and women's. A former CCHA team, St. Louis University, has a 10,600 seat Chaifetz Arena. With how popular hockey is and talent coming from the St. Louis area you'd' think Missouri, St, Louis, and Lindenwood would think of making the jump to D1. I never understood why Colorado and Colorado State don't have D1 hockey.

Said it was his dream school and his cousin went there. I don't know why he decommited, but being a top program that's 0-6 might not be the best thing for you're recruits to see.

He's still going to take a official visit to Wisconsin.

I did put it in the College Hockey Expansion thread. Let's Play Hockey said their source said that Arizona State would play NCAA D1 as a independent in 2016/17 and play at Wells Fargo Arena-Tempe. The ASU hockey team and Don Levin the owner of the AHL Chicago Wolves have denied Let's Play Hockey's reports, but nothing has come from Arizona State or the Athletic Department at ASU. I'm sure Josh Fenton is on top of Arizona State adding hockey and getting them in the NCHC.

These three might be line mates Collin Adams, Alexander Chmelevski, and Vanya Lodnia at Honeybaked U16. Collin Adams 2014/15 in 10 games 16-3-19. Alexander Chmelevski 2014/15 in 10 games 2-8-10. Vanya Lodnia 2014/15 in 10 games 5-4-9. Two Russian brothers Maksim (Maxim) Dzhioshvili 6'5" forward on Bloomington Thunder in 2 games he has one assist. Valdislav Dzhioshvili 2013/14 Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 26 games 34-29-63.

As the game went on Duluth looked like the better team. if the goaltending was better they would have won.
-
They could have beaten Minnesota at the Ice Breaker.
