That changed recently to get more West/Midwest bids because you don't have as many AHL/ECHL arenas in the West. Also, NHL arenas are no longer used for regionals (seen this from the main college hockey writers saying this).

I'm not worried about not getting Pohlkamp, you either had to not bring someone in or tell one of the current guys there is no room. Either believe in who you got or you don't.

Frank Mazzocco retiring, I grew up watching him calling Gopher games before I switched to UND. One of the better ones to call hockey games.

Others to note:
A.J. Garcia, Victor Plante, Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll (Chicago Mission). Dain Gordon (Bishop Kearney, but is from Denver), Luke Carrithers (Sioux Falls Power, Maple Grove kid). Cooper Soller (Shattuck).
Most of these kids were at the evaluation camp, but getting to see them live is just a treat. I'm just taken back by the skill and creativity.
You see Hale and Hakstol?
Hendrickson looks to be better than his older brothers.
Nikita Klepov is one to take a look at.

I would have rather taken a goalie that has more than a year, so Heil doesn't rush his development. I thought they would go after the other ASU goalie, Henry Levy, that didn't play but was part of the 2022-23 Penticton title team.
