I didn't come on here to smack. Go ahead and look at my first post. It's a reasonable post and some posters like Wanna-Be Coloradoan (UNDColorado) got pretty hurt by it. Not sure why.
-
I would rather meet for some coffee or a beer, my treat. Do you know where the Coffee Tree is in Loveland? I'm there often as well. I would honestly have more respect for you if you talk !@#$ about me face to face, not behind a keyboard.
-
CSU is about 10 miles from where I live. I live in the Loveland/FT Collins area. Aims is a nice school. I used to teach there. If you're ever in the mood to meet face to face and have a real conversation, you can find me mostly at Michener (since you seem to know a lot about it). As a grad student I'm there a lot.
-
Internet tough guy - go back to ND. Please leave my state.
-
So why not meet up? Internet tough guy. Have you seen the new locker rooms? New weight room? Practice fields? I know UNC doesn't have the money UND does, but we do okay. Also, if you think ND is so great, why not move back to where you belong?
-
You keep up the personal attacks but won't meet face to face. That's why im calling you an internet tough guy. I'm not threatening you. I'll show you around campus and the facilities. No big deal.
-
UNC has put in over 16 million dollars in facilities since moving up. What do you know about Fossil Ridge? Don't tell me you've invaded my state too?
-
Internet tough guy. If you take in consideration weight room, locker room, student-athlete training and academic centers, and practice facilities , UNC is in the top of the conference.
-
I can see your point, but wouldn't you want to be with your regional foes? In the back of my mind I think Fullerton was looking for ways to get you guys out of the conference (the nickname thing) because of the regional travel issues. Now we will see what happens. It wouldn't have been so bad if S. Dakota would have stayed and that would have meant 14 teams. I wouldn't get too settled in the 'Sky.
-
Hide behind your keyboard, that's fine. I will introduce myself to you during the game. Seriously, let me know.
-
I don't think anyone from ND should be running smack about anything from Colorado. Colorado is the best state in the union in my opinion (Oregon comes close). You come from the flat frozen tundra, so shut it. There's no possible way you had 1,000 ND fans there. Not even close, but hyperbole is fun. If you would like to discuss this in person, I have no issue with that. Will you be at the game in Nov?
-
You too. Please leave my state.
-
So move to another mountain state. Wyoming and Utah have great skiing as well. Leave my state.
-
Sorry you're jealous because I'm a native and you're not. I've done my home work on UND. I like the pick up you had with the QB. We shall see how things turn out in Nov.
-
Well, Wanna-be Coloradoan. I'm glad you see I'm not the only one. The people who have been here a long time must help each other, even it seems were putting out a holier-than thou type attitude. I don't expect you to understand, you're not one of us. Again, my original post was not smack. Some of you were pretty sensitive. You belong with your geographic partners in the Mid-West. Nothing wrong with that. It wasn't a smack against your athletics nor academics. As for the up coming season, I think you will beat ISU and maybe UC-Davis. However, you beat a UNC team last season (who by all accounts was the worst in many years) by 2 points. I don't think you'll do it again. UNC has many new faces to the team and new coaches as well.
-
No, but you shouldn't invade a state and say some parts are crappy. As I said before, the worst city in Colorado is better than the best city in ND. Please move back to North Dakota. The natives such as myself don't want you here.
-
I don't like Greeley either but it's not the worst place in the state. You're not even from CO and youre talking smack about parts of it? Hell, even the worst city in CO would be better than the best city in ND.
-
This coming from a wanna-be Coloradoan. Go back to the flat frozen tundra where you came from. And yes, I will have no problem telling you that to your face when you come to Greeley this fall. I'll be the one with a Colorado - pioneer license plate. I'm sure you've seen those around. I wasn't talking smack and you are dumb enough to interpret it that way. Why wouldn't you want to be in a conference with more regional rivals? You don't get that in the Big Sky. The MVFC is a pretty good conference.
-
Nice try. We've won several conference championships since moving up. Including men's basketball which meant a trip to the Big Dance. We've also got two conference championships in volleyball .
-
Don't take this as smack, because it isn't. However, I agree with most of what that article says. UND just doesn't belong geographically. It helped a little when USD was in the conference (what for about 2 days?). The college presidents will look for a way to kick you guys out asap, especially if we can't get a 14th member. You guys belong with the other Dakota and midwest schools, the MVFC. That's a heck of a conference and some consider it a better conference than the Big SKy.
