  1. And the only concern that most Bvillers have shown about this issue is whether the players would have to miss games, because that's what really matters to most NDSU fans. You know, buttfootball. There has been very little concern about the election process or North Dakota voters or even teaching students lessons.

    Completely false.

  2. Given the circumstances this is about the most ridiculous use of this argument I've seen yet. I mean, this argument is always ridiculous because we all know nobody is posting anything about NDSU out of envy, but this is the most ridiculous use of this argument that I've seen.

It's a fixation of sorts. I've seen it for decades.

  3. That's because Bville doesn't consider forging signatures, voter fraud or interfering with elections serious crimes. Bville only considers crimes involving sex or violence as serious. At Bville, nothing is as serious as winning football games. Teaching students life lessons and building better citizens doesn't seem to be as important as wins over FBS teams. At Bville, you aren't allowed to talk badly about NDSU football players. Bville is completely paranoid and believes that the whole world is out to get NDSU athletics. That's why this discussion wouldn't be on the main board at Bville. Thanks for playing.

To clarify, a similar discussion about problems at UND would not be at the top of the bisonville board. The hatred that some of you display for NDSU is really strange. Envy is the emotion that dominates your discussion about the Bison. It borders on being a fixation.

Over at bisonville we are showing that the problems with our players is a deep concern.

  4. The people of North Dakota, including a large number of NDSU fans, were upset because it appeared that these 10 players were given preferential treatment. Bohl had suspended players for lesser offenses. Then Taylor makes his preposterous statement that they had suffered enough and that the charges weren't that serious so none of the players would be suspended over this issue. If NDSU had done something immediately it would have prevented probably 90% of the PR headache that NDSU has had over this issue. And you really seem to have a fixation on the UND hockey team. Are you really a closeted UND hockey fan?

You're the one with the fixation. This discussion would not be on the main board at bisonville.

  5. Which section... the D-I AA portion?

The Bison and Sioux sections. I liked that he recognized NDSU for being a true champion. And I liked his thing about Utah being allowed to keep its name, as in they get to keep the name because of money. I'm a Sioux hockey fan, and I'm pissed about the name being taken away. I have a son who went to UND and is a hockey fanatic. My words about being a Sioux hockey fan are real. I'm also a huge Bison football fan. My feet are in both camps.

  6. Well folks, it's been good fishing.

I found out that nothing has changed in Sioux country. You have a first-class hockey program to be proud of, and you're envious as hell of North Dakota State's football dynasty. Because you can't have it, you would like to burn it down. It's been over 50 years of it now. The theme never changes. I thought that perhaps ya'll had evolved. I was wrong.

Looks like UND has a good offensive team. Someday we'll meet on the field again. Too bad that UND canceled all sports. It was kind of a shame actually. But still, very UND-like. Wasn't it nice of us to create a conference for you to land in when you moved up? And ya'll said that you would have a conference before you moved up. Well, not exactly, and once you found the conference it was the one that we helped to create. UND should be grateful. But that's not the UND way. The world revolves around UND in the minds of its fans.

How does North Dakota State's transition look now folks? Is it a disaster, like you predicted. :whistling:

The Bison have 9 national championships and 3 or 4 second place finishes. And you have 7 in hockey. I'm proud of the North Dakota Hockey dynasty, and I don't want NDSU to try and duplicate the program. Are you guys proud of the Bison dynasty? :D

  7. You realize that noone gives a !@#$ about the ballot thing aside from the people on this board, right? For north dakota to become a laughing stock, people would actually have to know and care.

This is accurate. Most people think of the movie when Fargo is mentioned. They've never heard of Grand Forks. And a lot of people around the country couldn't point to North Dakota on the map.

  8. Is that the original no punishment or the one that will come after this clarification or the next clarification. Also, what level of the 4 levels of punishment will be the correct level for those truely concerned with Bison football? How about those concerned with the state of ND voting laws and your Gene and Craig's misplaced concern about those?

It's amazing to see a discussion like this here on SS. On Bisonville a discussion like this would be buried in the commons area. There have been comments over there about your last round of problems with football players, but no headline articles.

Sioux jealousy at its finest, on display, in its uncut, disgusting version.

  9. It's already been stated this thread should be titled: Petition Fraud in ND. But Okay based on your comparison - UND hockey mills out millionaire hockey players that often return for their degrees and fund scholarships for the school, SU football mills out college drop-outs that take $9 an hour jobs defrauding the citizens of North Dakota and bringing humiliation to SU? Guess I'm not seeing where the jealousy would come in?

I forgot one element. UND's misplaced sense of superiority. That's also a common thread in the relationship.

    Thanks for being honest though.

  10. This is the 2nd time this week your president has had to clear up comments made earlier by your coach and AD. Even without your trolling and trying your best to get this thread closed down, your administration is keeping this in the news. I wonder if this 4 layers of punishment is a new thing or only implemented during the season? Its never been an issue before this. I wonder what the next clarification is going to be. I'll have my popcorn ready.

Your desire for clarification is based upon something other than genuine concern for the players and the program. NDSU's president is making decisions based upon genuine concern for the players and the program. He doesn't care about your misplaced concern. That's why it makes no sense to you. Everyone that really cares about Bison football wants this thing cleared up, and for players to be handed the appropriate punishments.

  11. Kind of surprised you didn't use Best Buy. After all, that is the retail store of choice for NDSU football!

Now, continue your excuses and blubbering. Carry on! :whistling:

Is there still a Best Buy in Grand Forks? That company is on its last. I use Wal-Mart because of the caliber of its customers.

  12. They are the Toyon Apple. Even smaller than the Crab Apple. Or simply they are the seed that has been spit aside.

Jealousy and envy are driving this discussion. Without these two key elements, there wouldn't be a thread. UND's discussion of Bison football typically degenerates into making fun of Fargo. It's just like Gopher fans when they lose to NDSU in football. They revert to putting down the state of North Dakota and Fargo. UND fans gladly rip the program that they would trade for in a heartbeat. I love the topic of Dale Lennon, the guy who applied for the NDSU coaching job while he was the head coach at UND.

As a North Dakotan, I'm actually quite proud of UND's hockey dynasty. I have absolutely no envy or jealousy toward it. But I recognize it for what it is. It's an athletic mill, as is Bison football.

  13. For the umpteenth time: it's Schadenfreude (look it up) not jealousy. Why can't you guys get it through your dunderheads? Oh yeah, don't answer that. (:

Typical stupid Sioux answer to the obvious state of their jealousy.

I've watched it for about 50 years. Very, very typical. Very whiny, like children at Wal-Mart.
