The WSJ lost most of its credibility when Rupert Murdoch ate it for lunch.

Having made the claim to begin with, my guess is that the new conference put together a Powerpoint pitch to NBC Sports/Versus and used the font to match up with NBCU's logo. So, IMO, it was intentional, but doesn't signal an agreement with NBC.

Even the same color...hmmm.

Ok, this is just a coincidence I'm sure, but the typeface they're using for the new conference on Facebook is the same one used by NBC Universal after its recent rebranding and takeover by Comcast.
