If I may I would like to add my two cents worth. I think another factor in NDSU's success was Tim Brewster's time as head coach. I believe a Minneapolis sports writer made the statement that Tim Brewster was the best thing to happen to NDSU football. Basicaly, between Muss and Brewster, NDSU was the only FCS school to have a monopoly in the area they recruited. Those days are over and I think the bison fans are going to have a rude awakening in a few years
