  1. It seems to me that the solution is good. Students will have to wait in line on some saturday in september to get the seats. A student can wait with friends and buy a group of tickets together. This was the only way to keep center ice! Also it does open up the back two rows of the student section which results in a gain of about 83 seats. If the students are not pleased with how it works out next season than they can choose to be moved to the corner and lose seats. We should all be thankful for the work done by the Student Senate.
  2. What would you all think about having sections 108 and 109 student season tickets. They would be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis. You could show up with your friends on the day they are distributed and decide where you and your pals want to sit. The day would be advertised for a month or so in order to give people time to take off work or whatever. You could camp out or whatever to get the good seats. Some would be saved for single game tickets. This would help with keeping the uncooperative students out of the arena. We would also be able to get back the 80 some seats in the last 2 rows that have been roped off. Let me know what you guys think. Would you rather be moved to the corner and lose seats?
  3. Students no longer block the suites. The complaints are coming in from fans in sections 107 and 110 the two sections on the sides. They cannot see when the action is on the opposite end. It is understandable for them to be upset being they paid so much money. But they are aware of the student section being 108 and 109. They chose to sit in 107 and 110 knowing the consequences. The Athletic department needs to think about what they are trying to accomplish. Where would you rather be in the "dog pund" at a Cleveland Browns game or sitting back and enjoying a Broadway production? Both can be very entertaining, but which are we trying to produce? We need to encourage local businesses to get behind the students who are a great deal of their business.
