He is a pretty good player. I would assume that midway through this semester he will either gain the eligbility or perhaps he heads to major juniors. Thoughts?

Did the brother just recently decommit? It sounded like they both were going to go to Northeastern at first and wanted to try stay together but obiviously if you have UND recruiting you then Northeastern is an after thought. At least they will be in the same league now. I proabably would have chosen SCSU over Northeastern as well. However you won't get me to say that about UND.

It might be hard to sell for 150. Someone will buy it especially now the nickname and logo are going away.

However if I remember correctly both orgs were pleased to have both players come back another year at UND. So they weren't giving them an utlimatium.

Was doing a little shopping at the Menards in Fargo yesterday and who is in my checkout lane? None other then Dean Blais himself. When we were both out in the parking lot I had to give him a Lets Go Sioux to which he kindly turned around and waved to me with a big smile on his face. That guy is class all the way.

This is probably the most attention this program has received since they won back to back NC. Unfortunately for them it is probably the wrong attention they would like.

I work at UND and I can attest that we are absolutely Military friendly. I have done tech support with many soldiers in iraq and afghanistan who through the fog of war are still taking classes. Unbelievable! I am also a senator on UND staff senate and whenever we have events that we take donations we always give them to Soliders Angels. As a service member that makes all the difference in selecting a school. Take note bison boy.

It was my impression that he wanted to stay in the WCHA. I assume could have changed his mind. My thought is why would you not join UW or UND and join Ohio State. I understand Osiecki is the coach now but they won't be close to a NC for at least 2-4years. I mean this is hockey not football. Being in the WCHA will probably give him a good shot at winning a NC. My opinion is that he goes to UND.
