Question: did Caulfield have to hit Poehling a second or two after he had already released the shot? Seems to me that Caulfield had plenty of time to either stop or skate by Poehling without hitting him.
Based on the interference call on St Cloud on a textbook hip check that Poolman ate in the second period, I would say two minutes for interference. But based on not wanting to see hockey turn into basketball, neither of the plays were penalties.

Yon can go ahead and graduate anytime. Your top end guys gotta take over games, I get it. But on the low end, and I know there’s a lot of haters in here, I’ll take Casey Johnson over Yon any day of the week. Tomorrow night’s effort needs to be a bit more inspired.

I understand “wanting it so bad”, but I thought there were times this weekend when Michaud was a liability. Peski was the man! I played with a kid in my youth. We could never get the puck away from him, and he was always giggling to himself while he kept the puck from us. That’s what I vision Guch doing.

UND needs to clean up these yard sales they have in front of Scheel that result in goals. Seems like everyone in green winds up laying on the ice staring at the ceiling while the puck is going in the back of the net.

I was able to get eight together in the lower bowl right at 10, but I had to move to the second period end. I'm alright with that. I'm happy with my seats! On the aisle, right in the middle of 102!

These are the weekends where you see what you're made of when the program appears to be rebounding after a couple dismal years. Conference play against a not very good squad. Will it be foot on throat? Or will it be believe the hype? I say we sweep.

Gave up a two goal lead twice. Can’t do that and win. But, with where we’ve been the last couple years, I’ll take hanging four and a tie with #2 in their building.
