If I recall he came back because his family was still in Grand Forks. Whole situation is strange. I can see him feeling undermined.

The NCAA is totally behind the 8 ball now days. I don’t like the current scenario. I’ve always supported the Grad Transfer. If you have earned your degree, you deserve to move on to greener pastures. The situation like the safety from Louisville that portals in and then enters again without playing a season is where I draw the line. The flip side is we don’t know if the coaches are telling players to move on.

Per Grand Forks Herald:
There will soon be a collective to benefit UND athletes through name, image and likeness (NIL).
An official announcement is expected by the end of the month that multiple leaders from the Grand Forks business community are partnering to launch a collective.
The collective will be designed to benefit athletes from any sport on campus.
Contributors will be able to specify where their money is going.
Details will be revealed in the official announcement, which could come as early as next week.

I think this is year 3/4 and a critical point. Seems to be some young talent and decent recruits. Tough world with the transfer portal now. I’m not ready to say she’s doing a great job but the next few years will be telling.

It's not a joke! I find it hard to believe that leading the state in scoring two years running doesn't make you worthy of Sr. Athlete of the year.

If I had to guess, GF doesn’t want other girls if they have enough of their own or have to make cuts. Same reason Siri Olson is in DL, I believe they approached GF first.
