  1. It is probably hand timed..... a hand timed 4.37 is probably closer to a 4.45 electronically timed... if you watch the NFL combine the times they give as the guys run are hand timed... Later they will give you the official time (electronic) which is always .05 to .1 secs slower.
  2. I assume UND has had plenty of Canadian kids play for them. Do they have trouble adapting to the american game
  3. Do canadian prep and colleges play under the same rules as the CFL?
  4. If that is electronically timed, thats just not fast that is amazing. Would be top ten at last years NFL combine. WOW
  5. I am assuming that they will be able to get 11 games or is that wishful thinking. How can you be in a conference and not play the other teams in that conference. I guess I am a little un-educated as to how the FCS works.
  6. Thanks, I knew it was fifty something, just couldn't remember exact how many
  7. It would only make sense to spread the scholarship money over players in all five yrs. If you are going to give say 40 full-rides. I would think the smart thing to do would be to distribute them relatively equally over the five year groups. That way the graduating class would surrender enough to entice enough talent during the next recruiting year. I remember one of the staff telling me that in order for UND to be able to schedule FBS teams starting in 2010 they would have to maintain at least 52+ scholarships in 2008 and 2009.
  8. Just a heads up, Ian Rosario signed his LOI at 7 am AST... Got confirmation that UND recieved the FAX copy
  9. No one has been able to handle him the last two years. He did very good against kids his size at both Notre Dame, Washington , and Eugene Nike camps this past summer. If he gets with a good experienced line coach who can work on this technique (pad level, positioning), my biased opinion is he can go as far as he wants too.
  10. Not sure if anyone is interested but see below for a link to Ian Rosario's Senior Highlight film. He is the #75 Right Tackle in all but one set of highlights where he is the Left Tackle (white socks). http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=...ideoid=27409616
  11. Just wanted to clear up what seems to be some confusion with the recruiting websites. The interest level listed beside each university in a players profile is the recruits interest in that program not the programs interest in the recruit. You have be careful about the information on these sites. Much of it cames from the recuits. I know rivals and scouts both have combines that they do and that data will be marked as such. The ESPN recruiting site has probably the best reports on each prospect. These reports are generated from highlight video that you send them.
  12. Ian Rosario is going to UND. Before he committed to UND he was on the bubble for several of these teams. As someone else state those where the D1 schools he was originally interested in, two of which showed interest in him. Bottom line he was the odd man out at Washington, Notre Dame liked him in camp last year but has one hell of a recruiting class. He is not going anywhere else. Hopefully he will make you all happy that he is a Fighting Sioux.
  13. A day before my step-son committed to UND, I contacted Coach Lennon at SIU to see if he would have interest in him there since he had offered him at UND. My step-son committed to UND prior to SIU getting back to me. The first question asked was had he committed to UND... Now I don't know exactly why they had asked the question, but my best guess is that Coach Lennon had no intention of talking to a kid that had already committed to his old school (and once committed we had no intention of entertaining further offers). If you keep a close look at D1 football, which we have done through this entire recruiting process, I think you would all be surprised by the number of programs that would recruit a kid after he had committed to another school. The better the athelete the more often this would happen (especially in the same conference). From this incident and from my step-sons dealings with both Coach Lennon and Mussman I think you have lost a man with a great deal of intregity and gain a new coach with that same make up. Count your blessings.
  14. Or it just could be that even high school football coaches in Alaska tell there athelete's parents that UND had the best damn facilities in DII and from his point of view will be in the top 10 of D1 FCS.
  15. These kids are probably extremely excited and a little nervous when on an official visit. Everything the UND coaches have told my step-son as far as I am concerned is the facts as they know them. The coaches have been honest with both him and us.
  16. Rosario was fifth on the University of Washington OL recruiting depth chart. They were orginally going to take 5 O-lineman but Coach Willingham changed his mind. Washington State has been be quite since there coaching change. Rosario Scout.com profile You are getting a really big-strong kid. His HS coach was also Kuper's head coach. With his 6'6" frame and growth potential in the upper body, he could easily carry 320lbs(310lbs right now). He has a massive lower body. 2007 1st Team Coach's and Alaskapreps All-State OT. No one in Alaska can even come close to handling him.
