Anyone know who's reffing this game?
Someone on POI said something about Adam...but I have no idea.
-
I'm listening to the game on the Maine broadcast, lets go Harvard!
Do you have a link? I am stuck at work until 6 and need something to hold me over until the SIOUX play.
-
Winner -- Saviano of UNH. Saviano is the perfect COLLEGE player and Hobey candidate-- relatively unheralded initially, he worked his way up to become POY in Hockey East. He's a senior, high in goals scored, plays both ends, team co-captain, sportsmanship award winner for Hockey East, and the local fan favorite.
Zach has no chance so I voted for Saviano, Voce and Ballard. I didn't want my vote to go to waste!

Hill says that UAA didn't play to well tonight and that goaltending saved them. He said that the team will play better tomorrow afternoon against the Sioux.
-
I wonder if Hill will rotate goalies if they win. In pregame they said King was 3-0 in last three starts and other goalie was 0-2. Wasn't King in goal with AA stole a point in GF?
Yup, King was in goal that night.
And yes, Zaba was pulled after the 2nd UAA goal.
-
King is amazing. Just made a GREAT save with CC on the PP.

The weekly WCHA article by Todd Milewski has the following predictions for the Final Five:

What does everyone thing? Any predictions?

FSN is a joke. I suppose the Sioux webcast won't be allowed either.
According to fightingsioux.com there will be no webcast.
-
They will cover the third place game however.
That is because the Gophers will be playing then.
Even though I will be at the Final Five, I have sent a message to Fox Sports Net, it may help, it may not, but either way, I guess it doesn't hurt to try.

As much as I don't like the "Minnesota rule," in one way right now it works in UND's favor:
- they catch the winner of UAA and CC on Friday afternoon after their night game
- UND will have the extra rest going into Saturday
- hopefully UM and UMD will go 19 overtimes
I agree. I think the Minnesota rule really helps. Both games the Sioux will be the team with more rest. I think even just a couple of hours helps.
In regards to OT, just out of curiosity, will they keep playing OT periods until someone wins or would they move to a shoot-out after 2 or 3 OTs? I know this is very unlikely, but I was just wondering.

"UND 2004 Hardware Inventory:

Broadmoor, NCAA (on order)
"Sioux Xcel at Winning"
"Minnesota:

of Gopher Hockey"
"Gopher [ or Seawolf or Tiger or Bulldog]:
The Other Dead Meat"
"Sioux-vivor Hockey:
Outshoot, Outskate, Outscore"
"7-11
Open All Nite"
"Bo Knows Goals"
"When Zach Attacks,
Sioux Win""
I like these ones. Good job YaneA. The signs this season have been a lot of fun. There are some really creative people here!

So Sioux play at 2:05 on Friday?
Are a lot of Sioux fans making it down there for the Friday Game?
Yes
I will be there!!
-
Never mind, I guess it's the 2nd intermission. What about the Wisconsin game?
3 mins until the 3rd starts in Wisco. Wisco has free video on uwbadgers website.
-
Due to the "Minnesota Rule" we will not know until after the games tonight.
If the Badgers and Bulldogs both win, the Gophers will play in the play-in game vs. CC. Then, the winner of that game will play UND at night on Thursday. But, if there is an upset and the Mavs or UAA win, that will push the Gopehrs up and they will avoid the play-in game. If this happens, UND plays in the afternoon vs. the winner of the play in game, and Gophers play #2 team at night. I am not positive on this, but this is how I understand it. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

PS said it would be on ch. 23 in GF on the news. All games will be on
Friday 7:30 pregame 7:35 game time
Saturday 7:00 pregame 7:05 game time
Sunday (if needed) 6:00 pregame 6:05 game time

How does Chris Conner get nominated for Offensive POW with 1 goal.
8 SHG

UMT @ UND - Sioux in 2
MSU-M @ UMD - Bulldogs in 2
UAA @ Wisco - Badgers in 3
CC @ DU - Pioneers in 3
SCSU @ UMN - Gophers in 2

Anybody know if the games will be on TV? I am going to guess that if the Gophers make it and play the Sioux on Friday night it will be on Fox Sports Net, but if not, will they still show the game even if it was UND playing someone else? What about the championship game? Just wondering if anyone knows. I will be in St. Paul for the games, but my family was just wondering cause they want to see the games here in Grand Forks.

I like the "Couldn't carry Zack's jock (or fill it)" Also, the one that said "Hey Briggs, looking for this?" one was great. Funny stuff!! There are picture of both of these signs in the UND vs. Minnesota photo gallery.

Great pics Pat!
Thanks!

Last night on SC there were highlights of the last two Maine goals vs. Harvard, but that was all I saw.
