  1. We have two tickets available for Foootloose. The tickets are on the Main Floor, Row 21, Section B2. The tickets cost $48 each. Looking for $70 for the pair. The first PM gets them. I will also consider any offer. I will personally deliver them anywhere in Grand Forks. Thanks. Mike
  2. I'm still waiting for my request also. I have a feeling I'll be waiting a long time.
  3. You really don't get the point to the Directv subscriber complaints. Several years ago, I specifically switched to Directv because I could pay extra to get the local channels. I currently pay $10 extra per month. If the number difference is accurate from what has been reported, the costs of the local stations would go up about $0.50 per subscriber per month. Well, I've already missed sevaral NFL playoff games because of a pissing match between KXJB and Directv. I'm perfectly willing to pay the additional fees associated with the service. Missing half the playoffs isn't acceptable. Now here is where the insanity really begins. If you call Directv to complain about not receiving the channel, they will refund your account $5 per month until the channel is restored. Unbelievable. I would encourage every Directv subscriber to call and request the refund. It might actually get negotiations moving again. Quite frankly, I'm not going to switch anything before March. But I guarantee I will not be with Directv come March Madness if this situation isn't resolved.
  4. Thanks bisonguy. You made my day. Go Bison!!
  5. Actually I'm more than willing to pay for the programming. I already do pay a fee to direct tv for the local channels. I called direct tv today to see if there was any other way I could pay to receive the channel so I could watch the football game today. The fact is I was more than willing to write a check to be able to watch the game today. Direct TV said there was no way I could get the game. I admit I'm rather ticked off today at both CBS and Direct TV. I'm not quite ready to switch to Dish Network yet, although I'm much closer than I ever thought I'd be. I guess this is just one of those battles I'm gonna lose. I hope everyone else enjoys the game. P.S. Does anyone know a way to get the game via internet?
  6. OK, this nonsense has gone on long enough. I found the whole situation mildly amusing up until this point. I figure they would take a few days to figure it out and things would be back to normal. However, now that I have to find a new location to watch the AFC Championship, I'm officially tired of this crap. I refuse to use rabbit ears on my HD flat-screen television. I was always under the impression that CBS was free and the station made its money off advertising from the huge number of viewership. Mr. Charles Johnson needs to realize that his job is to increase the local viewership of the CBS affiliate he manages to increase the advertising revenue. From reading his statements on the official website, it almost seems like he is trying to convince people to switch from Direct TV to Dish Network or the local cable company. I would hope that current advertising clients realize there are significanltly fewer customers watching their commercials these days because of the current decision by KXJB and are taking appropriate action to reduce their advertising fees and/or cancelling future spots.
